I got my account back... so for Sugar Hoof... · 1:15pm Dec 30th, 2022

I got my account back, but to be honest, I have no idea what to do with Sugar Hoof.

Sugar Hoof's main goal in the stories, as a repeating plot point, is immortality, well, in the second story, I made him an alicorn. Alicorns to some extent are immortal, so...

I tried to explain my continuation of his story in lines like "Though I am now an alicorn, I'm not entirely immortal, my aging process has slowed greatly and it will take roughly 1000 years for me to age a single day, but I'm still not immortal." But really... I don't know where to take him from here, where he's already basically achieved his end goal.

I do plan on making more stories that aren't a part of the canon, including both "Sugar Hoof Farms" and "Director Sugar Hoof" being continued, though not being apart of canon.

I think I wrote five stories so far after "Prince Sugar Hoof of Equestria" that for one reason or another, I trashed, and those were two of the five. I also wrote "Sugar Hoof in Las Pegasus", "Sugar Hoof: Glitz and Glam", and the story that went the farthest, "Sugar Hoof the Alicorn Overlord"

I've been thinking about going back to "Prince Sugar Hoof of Equestria" and redoing that ending, since at the time of writing I had this thing pressuring me to finish the story, believing that I wouldn't get the chance to keep writing it if I didn't finish it very very quickly.

So that's what I'll be doing, finishing Sugar Hoof's story the way I originally planned without feeling stressed to get it done, and then finishing some non-canon side stories of him. Might even give Birch his own side story. I don't know when I'll truly restart, or when I'll get back into the groove of writing, but the plans have been set.

mabey you could redo it so that alicorns age untill their prime then as long as long as their attribute exists (aka the sun for celestia) they stay that way. making it so he has reached his goal and his only thing he needs to do now is make sure nature does not die out ever.
You could start from the pit where he became an alicorn and have his allies find him and take him untill he wakes up. maby from there he could be honest with them about what he wants to do.
I do like the possiblity that he might meet celestia and the others again and they will be confused af
