Honestly looks promising. Baby's First Platformer 2.0, but still, did genuinely enjoy my time with the first game.

It's a good game... They're dragging their heels on story mode though, first chapter is still very enjoyable

I must admit that's frustrating... but~ it also seems like a good sign.
The story mode is such an afterthought in most fighting games, so it's refreshing to see it getting the slow-roast treatment that's hopefully resulting in something cool & lasting.
