The irony in writing about a broken heart = my recent ER visit · 2:21pm Dec 14th, 2022
So, yeah. The irony in focusing on so many broken hearts in this new arc is that this past Monday, I made another magic trip to the ER because of chest pains, difficulty breathing, lightheadedness, blah, blah, blah... Well, I had the flu with a temp of over 101, which was fun, and just to be safe, they ran some blood tests. It turns out they detected elevated levels of Troponin (or something similar to it, I was really in and out the whole time).
For those not in the know, I'll save you the Google search. Troponin is a biomarker chemical that indicates a heart attack or cellular damage to the heart. Because of that, yesterday, I went in for a lengthy echocardiogram for them to view my heart and take recordings of its functions. I'll get the results in another 2 -4 business days.
I'm bringing this up as, One, just a place to vent, and Two, also a heads up that with so much shit going on, my ability to write, illustrate, or publish might get delayed in the attempts of finding a diagnosis of what's been trying to kill me this past year.
UPDATE!
Actually, it's not the flu. It's Covid. I just got the message.
Shit, Dude that's insane. Hoping you have a clear recovery, friend.
And don't worry, health always comes first before story

Just got the word from the department of health that I actually got Covid, not the flu. So, my day is only getting better and better.
Covid had me with chest pains, headaches and sweating like a waterfall. Best of luck recovering it.
Happy Vacation days and jump into hopefully a beter new year...

Friend, I hope that I can help you by sharing some personal anecdotal methods I've used the past 2 years for heart health after some alarming chest and arm pain (definitely blood vessel related) got me worried.
Please take a moment to look up the items I will mention below, do a bit of personal research, and decide if these may be beneficial for you! 😇

I've had pneumonia before, and that was a lot worse. I'll make it through this.

It could be worse, and no, it's not gone. it's just a really shitty thing we're gonna be stuck with.

I'll look into your suggestions, though I've been in and out of the ER about 16 times so far this year. Mostly for what appear to be stroke-like symptoms, but still with no diagnosis. This new endeavor only seems to complicate matters, as my biggest concern as of late was headaches.
Now I don't know what to think anymore.
