The Loud House Mistletoe Kiss From A Loud · 3:16pm Dec 1st, 2022

In the middle of the day on Christmas Eve, Lori drove from Royal Woods to Great Lake City after she left college for the holidays. The Loud Family on the other hand are planning to have a family gift swap with The Casagrandes at their apartment, but they doubled the time on their Christmas shopping after many last minute decisions. However Lincoln, after doing most of the Christmas shopping, decides to ride along in Lori’s car to meet Ronnie Anne for the holidays. Lucky for him, he’s willing to bring along two friends from school to show them the Christmas joy in the big city.

With Lincoln and Lori’s gifts installed in the back of Lori’s car, Lori while driving is thrilled to the max. “Bobby just texted me that he just brought me a gift for me at the mall!” With a squeal of excitement, Lincoln and his friends closed their eyes in slight annoyance.

“You do realize you made the choice to pick him instead of picking a raffle, right?” Lincoln asked.

“This is his first gift swap, he deserves to have his first swap from me.”

“Even if it’s not someone you’re supposed to give from the raffle?” Stella added. “Which you didn’t pick out nor are you a part of?”

“It took all day to set up everything with another family in the mix, Mom is even willing to take me and Bobby’s name out of the raffle.” Lori retorted.

“Yeah, once you see The Casagrandes, you’ll understand why we’re celebrating Christmas there instead at Royal Woods.” Lincoln turned to Stella. He also noticed that his other friend was looking out the car window, not making any eye contact at all. “Girl Jordan, you haven’t spoken to us since we left my house.”

“Don’t worry about it, I’m only looking forward to the Christmas lights at the park.” She replied with a distinctive shallow tone.

“You apologized to Rusty, all the while he apologized for ruining your cake, he even gave you a candy cane on the last day before winter break.” Stella said.

“Do you think that makes a difference?” Girl Jordan finally turned her attention to her friends. “I’m usually in the Christmas spirit by giving at least one person one candy. But I was so depressed to even go Christmas shopping with my parents knowing that by framing Rusty, I…I…”

“You didn’t tear my friends apart.” Lincoln replied. “While Rusty and the others have their own Christmas plans, you didn’t mean to push things too far. Aside from the whole crime thing but…”

“You’re all just focus on that when we get to The Casagrandes apartment, we’re ten minutes away from Great Lake City.” Lori interrupted.

“Yeah, I don’t want to talk about it right now.” Girl Jordan agreed.

“Alright.” Lincoln looked out his car window.

Upon entering the city itself, Lori parked her car by the Mercado as everyone got out of the car. Lori and Lincoln immediately head to the trunk to carry most of the gifts. “Do you need any help?” Stella offered.

“It’s fine, this is only between our family and The Casagrandes.” Lincoln replied.

“It’s too late to add more people in the gift swap.” Lori added.

“That’s fine.” Girl Jordan putting her hat on.

With six gifts out of the trunk, Lori opened the door allowing the kids to come inside, with her closing the door upon entering. Reaching to the second floor of the apartment, Lincoln knocked on the door which it immediately answered.

“Ronnie Anne!” Lincoln smiled.

“Hey, Lincoln, you’re here just in time, put the presents under the Christmas tree.” She pointed at the tree, inviting the visitors to her apartment. “Is Clyde spending his Christmas with his fathers?”

“Yes, I was gonna offer him to come along, but after what he told me, I didn't pressure him.” Upon placing the gifts under the tree, Lori is eager to meet her boo boo bear.

“Bobby!” Lori called.

“I’m coming!” Bobby heads out of his room with her gift to Lori in his hand. “I have your gift babe!”

“So do I!” She lifted her gift up. “I still need to haul the rest of the gifts in though.”

“I’ll give you a hand.” As Lori and Bobby head out, Ronnie Anne notices two of Lincoln’s friends.

“Oh Ronnie Anne, these are my two friends Stella and Girl Jordan.” Lincoln sitting on the couch. “I wasn't able to get my other friends to come since they have their own Christmas plans.”

“It’s fine, my friends did the same thing, but Sid’s willing to come over.” Ronnie Anne smiled.

“Does she have a reason?” Stella asked.

Ronnie Anne sighed after the month she had with Sid at school. “Twelve Is Midnight is gonna be singing Christmas Carols out in the city tonight and…she want’s a mistletoe so she can get a kiss from Yoon Kwan.”

Everyone in the living room remains silent while giving Ronnie Anne awkward looks. “Well that’s interesting.” Stella grinned while rolling her eyes.

“I love Twelve Is Midnight but even I couldn’t help myself. She’s been thinking about it ever since Thanksgiving.” She sat next to the table. “The only thing I need to make the kiss happen is a mistletoe.”

Lori and Bobby head back to the apartment with more gifts. As Lori placed them under the tree. “Can’t wait for the gift swap tomorrow!” She squealed.

“And in the meantime…” Bobby heads back to his room and back out with a mistletoe in his hand while lidding his eyes. “Let’s have five minutes together babe.”

While Lori agrees with her boyfriend’s way of thinking, Lincoln and Ronnie Anne on the other hand cringe. As Lori and Bobby head inside the room, Lori uses her leg to shut the door as she and Bobby smooch together.

“Shouldn't you two be getting used to your older siblings in a relationship by now?” Stella wondered.

“We have gotten used to it.” Lincoln replied.

“It’s just the mistletoe.” Ronnie Anne added. “And I doubt my brother would let me borrow his when he’s making out with Lori.”

“And I’m sure it’s gonna be more than five minutes.”

Little did Ronnie Anne notice, Girl Jordan’s tears were watering down on her face. Soon Lincoln and Stella saw the look on their friend’s face. “What’s wrong Girl Jordan?”

Girl Jordan only stared at the ground with more tears coming down. “You really thought getting a kiss on the mouth or cheek is gross?”

“What, do you want a kiss from Twelve Is Midnight?” Ronnie Anne wondered.

“NO!” She got off the couch and rushed to the bathroom while locking the door.

“She didn’t mean to offend you.” Lincoln walked up the bathroom door.

“Lincoln, you don’t know what it feels when you don’t get your first kiss! Please give me some space!”

Lincoln didn’t process what just happened out of the blue. His friends were also in disbelief, as if Girl Jordan hated Twelve Is Midnight, but they’re wrong. Meanwhile, Carlota got out of her apartment after receiving a text message from Alisa. As she knocked on the door, Ronnie Anne invited her in.

“You won’t believe this Ronnie Anne, Alisa wants to do a Christmas vlog with me!” She squealed. “This is gonna be the best Christmas Eve ever!”

“Carlota, I get you’re really excited, but one of Lincoln’s friends is crying in the bathroom.”

When Carlota heard sobbing in the bathroom, she never doubted during her experience of Christmas over the years, a young girl would be in this depressed situation. But then again, when she was the girl’s age, she might figure out how to help Lincoln’s friend.

“Excuse me?” Carlota knocked on the bathroom door. “What’s she upset about?”

“Something about kissing, mistletoes for what we learn?” Lincoln replied.

Carlota soon caught on, especially when it came to her first kiss under the mistletoe during the holidays. “What’s her name?”

“Girl Jordan.”

“Girl Jordan, why don’t you come over to my apartment to work this out.”

In no time at all, Girl Jordan unlocked the bathroom door, opening it in the process. Lincoln, Ronnie Anne, and Stella found the tearful look on their friend difficult to take seriously. In fact, they wished they had a plan to cheer her up when they got to Great Lake City. Carlota and Girl Jordan head out of the apartment and head straight to Carlota’s.

“Why do I get the feeling that Girl Jordan never had a proper good Christmas?” Stella replied.

“Do you mean her family or friends?” Ronnie Anne turned to Stella.

“Well she’s sometimes happy but it looked like holiday cheer didn’t come to her in return.”

“You might be right.” Lincoln added.

As Carlota took Girl Jordan into her bedroom, the young girl sat on the bed. Carlota took a tissue and gave it to Girl Jordan, sitting next to her. “What seems to be the problem?” She asked. “About the whole…kissing and mistletoes that Lincoln’s talking about?”

As Girl Jordan sniffed, she focused on the question Carlota asked. “Have you ever had a boyfriend when you got older?” She turned to her.

“Yes and no but…does that have anything to do with-“

“Sorry, it’s just…during the seasons, whenever there’s a mistletoe hanging from above, it’s always for people who are the luckiest if they’re really good.”

The chica can’t completely agree with her, but she isn’t wrong at the same time. “And you mostly feel the unluckiest for each passing Christmas?” Girl Jordan nodded as Carlota continued the subject. “And why is that?”

“It’s mostly what I did to Lincoln’s friends a while ago, but at the same time, I never had any luck whenever a mistletoe hangs above me.” It caused her to tear up again while taking a deep breath. “A boy never kissed me.”

Upon catching on, Carlota can feel the depression in Girl Jordan. Even at a young age, girls also received kisses during the season of Christmas. “Girl Jordan, that’s actually a shame you never had any luck when it came to mistletoes.”

“Did the same thing happen to you?”

“My ex-boyfriend Diego gave me a kiss with a mistletoe hanging from above but…even if I were in your boots, I would probably feel the same way.” Carlota got off her mattress while looking out her window. More and more people appear in the streets of the big city. “In Royal Woods, even if I only went there a few times, it isn't really a place where kisses come when Mistletoes are there. It’s a small town, you know.”

“But how is that the reason?” Girl Jordan replied.

“You can’t expect kisses to be deserved, even when the time is right, you need to have someone who knows you personally. I knew Diego a little bit but not personally.” While trying to see the point of view of a grown teenager, the door banged from the living room. “BRB.” As Carlota heads to the door, Girl Jordan has to learn the kisses have to be earned rather than gifted. But she doesn’t know where to start knowing that Christmas Eve is here, not giving her time until next year.

Carlota opened the door but then she squealed upon seeing Alisa Barela face to face while wearing her Christmas uniform. “I’m here, you wouldn’t believe how hard it is to get here without any one spotting me.”

“I told you giving you stealth advice would work.” As Carlota invites her best friend inside, Girl Jordan popped her head out of the room, witnessing a popstar celebrity in her very eyes. As Alisa and Carlota took a seat together, Alisa took out the make up accessories she brought along.

“So I’ve been thinking that for our vlog together, we should sing my famous Christmas tunes with our uniforms on.” Alisa smiled.

“I’m lucky I managed to find two other grown girls to be part of our vlog because my friends from school are out of the city during the holidays.”

“Yeah they also texted me they’re almost here, one of them is bringing along a sister which is why they didn’t tag along on my stealth journey.”

Carlota soon realized that Girl Jordan didn’t move a muscle after witnessing a celebrity right by her. “Oh Alisa, this is Girl Jordan.” She pointed to which Alisa took notice of the tears from the young girl.

“Oh dear, sit next to us.”

As Girl Jordan sat next to Alisa, Carlota went back to the subject matter. “I had a talk with her and…let’s just say mistletoes aren't nice to her.”

When Alisa took the words into consideration, she knew what it feels to be kissed from a boy during Christmas. “Tell me the whole story.” She wondered.

Back in Ronnie Anne’s apartment, Rose baked masa for Ronnie Anne and her guests to eat in the meantime. Lincoln however couldn’t get his mind off of Girl Jordan, for ten minutes that passed, he expected Carlota to take care of it earlier than that.

“What’s taking them so long?” Stella turned to the door.

“Yeah, the masa’s gonna get cold once they come back.” Rosa commented.

“Why don’t we just save the masa for Carl or CJ?” Ronnie Anne signed. “Otherwise, she might be hanging out with Alisa by now.”

“I doubt she would leave Girl Jordan all alone, especially on Christmas Eve.” Lincoln eating the masa. “I doubt taking her to the park would make a difference for her.”

As the kids continued to eat the masa, the door banged which Ronnie Anne immediately answered, only to witness Frida and Carlos. “Merry Christmas Ronnie Anne!”

“Merry Christmas.” Ronnie smiled as she invited her family in. “Speaking of Carl and CJ.”

“I just found the perfect Christmas gift.” Carl raised his gift up. “It’s gonna blow everyone's mind!”

“I’m having fun with this family gift swap.” CJ commented while holding his gift.

“Believe me, this is gonna be great once Christmas arrives but we’re gonna have a feast tonight.” Ronnie Anne replied. “Mom and Dad are buying the desserts while Lincoln’s family will arrive before supper begins.”

As Stella got off her seat, she walked up to Carlos for a favor. “Is it okay if I come to your apartment? Carlota is helping Lincoln’s friend.”

“Don’t worry, we’re gonna be heading to our apartment in a moment.” Carlos smiled. “Didn’t expect he would bring friends of his along.”

“Well, you would be surprised.” Lincoln felt concern for Girl Jordan.

Back in Carlota’s apartment, Girl Jordan told everything to Alisa to which she was stunned into disbelief. She wrapped her arms around Girl Jordan, giving her the slightest support she could give during the holidays.

“Girl Jordan, it’s really a shame you never got a kiss during Christmas.” Alisa replied.

“I doubt I’ll ever get a kiss from any boy even when I get older.” Girl Jordan sniffed.

“You never know, no matter what, there’s always a way you never expected.”

The young girl wanted to believe her but after the many attempts in the past, she doesn't want to jinx it. “Let me go.” She replied as Alisa broke the hug. “I’m gonna go back to the other apartment.”

“Wait.” Carlota grabbed her arm. “You think we’re just gonna let this slide?”

“You said kisses aren’t always deserved.”

“But…you’re not one of those kids who'll be desperate.”

Girl Jordan never felt desperate when opportunities came her way, aside from her dodgeball talents. Kisses during the Christmas season felt like the hardest she tried to achieve but she never went out of her way to force someone to kiss her. Even though she didn’t picture it the way she wanted.

“Then…what do we do now?” She asked only to hear the door being banged upon. Carlota and Alisa got off the sofa while answering the door. It reveals to be the two grown girls Carlota found for her Christmas vlog. Not to mention one of them brought along their young sister.

“We got our Christmas uniforms.” One of the ladies smiled.

“And we promise we'll be done before dinner time.” The other lady walked in.

Girl Jordan not only witnessed an adult she met in the past who used to be a substitute teacher of hers, but the girl with the reddish brown hair with an orange headband caught her memory all the way back from the fourth grade.

“Cristina?” She blinked while Cristina did the same.

“Girl Jordan?” As the two girls met for the first time in such a long time, Carlota was stunned. When she turned to her older sister with the orange dress and black jacket.

“You never told me she was friends with her.” She pointed at her younger sister.

“For your information, she didn’t spend a lot of time in the fourth grade in Royal Woods Elementary School before we moved to Great Lake City.”

“But I still hung out with Girl Jordan during second grade, Belle.” Cristina turned to her sister.

“Yes, but there was nothing I could do.” Belle signed. “I never took away your friendship with Girl Jordan okay, same goes to your ex boyfriend.”

This caused Cristina to flinch in annoyance. “Lincoln was never my boyfriend!” She said, stamping her foot on the ground.

Not only did Carlota and Alisa take a back from the outburst, they were surprised that Belle’s little sister had known Lincoln in her life, even if they don’t know the whole story. “I’m just saying, if you knew he is all along, maybe I wouldn’t see him being that attractive to you.”

“It wasn’t my fault his sister dragged me into it at the SMOOCH concert.”

The other visitor giggled at the banter between two sisters which caused the other girls to turn their attention to. “Sorry, I just found it adorable that you think Cristina still has a crush when in actuality, you never told her that Lincoln had a crush on her.”

“It seems neither one of you understands boy crushes at all.” Girl Jordan said, rolling her eyes. “And you don’t know what it feels if a boy kisses you at the right moment during a holiday like this.”

“Yeah…clearly.” Alisa replied, biting her lip.

With her singing group arrived, Carlota then got an idea for what she can do for Girl Jordan. As a matter of fact, she’s definitely gonna get the whole group to help her. But the only person he needs to put her plan into action is Lincoln himself.

Back in Ronnie Anne’s apartment, Lincoln’s patience had run out. “Okay, it’s been thirty minutes and your cousin hasn’t come back with Girl Jordan.” He turned to Ronnie Anne.

“Hey, her way of handling this isn’t the same way I would do it.” Ronnie Anne retorted.

“It’s Carlota, what did you expect?” Carl replied. “She spent more time working on her dresses, while expressing her hair cutting talents, which she has none.”

As much as Ronnie Anne would think otherwise, Lincoln had to face the facts that Carl is right. “Do you really think my friends are not always sensitive?”

“Carl doesn’t have many friends like we do Lincoln, and if there’s one thing I’ve learned from Carl is that he kissed Sid’s sister’s frog.”

Lincoln cringed at the image while Carl blushed in embarrassment. “I just wanted to be in her father’s conductor’s cabin!”

After looking at the food Rose’s preparing tonight, both Frida and Carlos got out of the kitchen. “Carl, CJ, we're gonna be heading to our apartment now.”

“Thank you.” Lincoln getting off the chair.

As they head out of the apartment, Frida took out her keys and unlocked her apartment door. Upon heading in, Lincoln, Ronnie Anne, and Stella head straight to Carlota’s bedroom, only to witness that she nor Girl Jordan are inside.

“Seriously?” Lincoln’s jaw dropped.

“How long does your cousin do this?” Stella asked.

“I swear, she doesn’t take this long.” Ronnie Anne answered.

“But did she need to take Girl Jordan with her?” Lincoln signed. “At this point, I'd rather take her to the park because I still don’t know why she’s acting this way over a first kiss.”

Lincoln heads straight out of the bedroom while sitting on the sofa in the living room. As if it wasn’t enough, he couldn’t think of a way to cheer Girl Jordan even if he took her to the park of Christmas lights. Ronnie Anne and Stella walked into the living room, noticing Lincoln dealing with a situation of his friend.

“Lincoln, if I knew Girl Jordan personally when I was at your Elementary School, I might know what she feels, but mistletoe? Kisses?” Ronnie Anne crossing her arms. “It took time for my family to know that we’re not into any of that staff as FRIENDS!”

Upon the loud tone, Frida signed. “We know already, you don’t have to shout out loud Ronnie Anne!” She called from her bedroom.

Stella can tell that Lincoln and Ronnie Anne aren’t qualified to be in a romantic relationship at all. But if she knew the whole story, it would be difficult to believe it. “Why don’t we just go to the park before everyone comes here? I know it’s not gonna help but what else can we do?”

“Seeing Christmas lights without our friend?” Lincoln guessed.

“Okay, I’m texting Carlota.” Ronnie Anne took out her phone, texting her cousin on her whereabouts. “If this is about her Christmas vlog, it’s not gonna help Girl Jordan when she’s her young back up singer.”

“If she did that, she would’ve reminded us before she left.” Stella commented. “But still, Girl Jordan shouldn’t be this depressed.”

After Ronnie Anne sent her text, in no time at all, Carlota texted her back. “Wait, Carlota texted that she wants us to be at Margarita’s Hair Salon. That’s a few blocks away.”

“Maybe there’s where she took Girl Jordan to.” Lincoln getting off the sofa.

As the three headed out of the apartment, they took notice of Ronnie Anne’s best friend Sid walking up the stairs. But at the same time, they notice the mistletoe hat she's wearing on her head.

“Oh geez.” Ronnie Anne shaking her head while lowering it.

“Ronnie Anne!” Sid smiled. “Have you seen Twelve Is Midnight yet?”

“Not really.”

“I’ve been dying for Yoon Kwan to give a kiss to this lucky girl.”

Stella leaned in towards Ronnie Anne while whispering in her ear. “She is a die hard Twelve Is Midnight fan.”

“Not to mention a highly obsessed Yoon Kwan fangirl.” Lincoln whispered as well.

“Well at least I don’t have to find a mistletoe now.” Ronnie Anne is still distracted by her hat. “Sid, Lincoln’s friend Girl Jordan’s at the hair salon with my cousin.”

“Oh, is she giving her a haircut?” Sid wondered.

“My cousin isn’t a great barber/hairdresser, but we’re going over there right now.”

“We have a few more hours until my family arrives.” Lincoln putting on his winter hat. “Let’s make sure that Girl Jordan joins us for dinner tonight at least.”

The four kids head straight out the apartments as they head their way to the hair salon. Everyone around them is having the best Christmas Eve in Great Lake City. But the more Lincoln sees the streets of happy citizens, the more remorse he feels towards Girl Jordan.

“You look sad.” Ronnie Anne replied.

“I couldn’t just leave Girl Jordan all depressed okay.” Lincoln said, trying to focus on what’s in front of him.

Ronnie Anne thought about the time she was away from Royal Woods. Even if she forgot some of Lincoln’s friends, she would understand if he ever dealt with helping a girl out. “Have you ever given her something that would appreciate her on Christmas?”

“We only hand out Christmas cards with a candy cane inside.” Stella answered. “When we gave one to her, she didn’t mind the candy cane at all.”

“Not really a candy cane kind of person, is she?” Sid added.

“She is, I remembered she enjoyed one back in Elementary School.” Lincoln replied. “But even if she did get something in return, it still won’t help her from her depression.”

“Seems you know less about her from the way you come across her.” Ronnie Anne replied.

Lincoln had nothing but to agree with her friend living in the big city. Even when he’s not with his friends, he never knew Girl Jordan personally. He never had the time when he went to her pool party where she was at her happiest.

“If we had more friends, there would always be those two friends who won’t know each other well.”

“I would probably have a hard time knowing her if I were you, Lincoln.” Stella said.

They arrive at Margarita’s Beauty Salon, with Ronnie Anne noticing her cousin waiting inside. Lincoln and his friends head inside the hair salon, Carlota had just put on her Christmas uniform after changing in the bathroom.

“Carlota? Where’s Girl Jordan?” Ronnie Anne looking around.

“She’s at the park right now.” Her cousin answered.

“Seriously!?”

“You even left her alone on Christmas!?” Lincoln added.

“Relax!” Carlota shouted. “She wanted to see Christmas lights, it’ll cheer her up.”

“Can you at least tell us what her problem was?” Stella replied.

“Sure.” As the chica turned around where the rest of her singing group’s at, she turned her attention to Lincoln. “Lincoln, I want you to sit down.” She presented him with the barber’s chair.

“Okay.” As the boy in white hair sat down in the barber’s chair, Carlota looked straight at him.

“Girl Jordan told me she wanted a kiss with a mistletoe hanging from above. Year after year, she never got a kiss from someone during the holidays.”

Lincoln became dumbedfound after receiving the answer. “That’s literally it!?”

“Calm down. If there’s one thing you don’t understand is how a girl feels when her first kiss never happened…yet that is.”

As Lincoln tried to understand the logic itself, he couldn't come up with a solution however. “So, it may answer why she cried but what do you expect me to do?”

“Well…I think some of my singers should give you…let’s just say, mistletoe lessons.” As Carlota lid her eyes, Alisa came out in the open with her Santa uniform on, surprising the kids except for Lincoln.

“Who is she?” He asked which surprised Alisa.

“You don’t know who I am?” Alisa blinked.

“He may be a SMOOCH fan, but that doesn’t mean he’s into your music.” Ronnie Anne filled in.

Alisa knew Carlota’s cousin would enjoy her music ever since she sang with Twelve is Midnight on the roof of the apartments, but when it comes to her friends, it took time for them even when her music plays on the radio. But for a city outsider like Lincoln, she loves to give a newcomer an introduction.

“Then this Christmas is your favorite holiday young boy.” She placed her hand on Lincoln’s cheek, causing him to blush. “I’m Alisa Barela.”

“We’ve been BFFs for awhile and we’ve been through a lot of kissing drama.” Carlota added.

“Please tell us you're gonna kiss his face.” Ronnie Anne rolled her eyes, while Lincoln blushed harder. “Is that part of your singing gimmick?”

“Hey, I think they’re on to something.” Sid commented.

“Like mistletoes and such?” Lincoln replied.

“Yes.” Alisa giggled. “From what I heard from your friend, she wants to be cherished during Christmas.” She then lifted Lincoln’s hand while removing his glove. “Have you ever cherished a girl when this holiday comes around?”

“Well, there was that one girl who used to be at my school but…let’s just say she didn’t accept my Christmas card.”

“I see.” The popstar looked at his hand. She can tell that he never had the experience to cherish a girl who would fully appreciate it. “Have you ever known what a girl feels when you kiss her?”

Upon listening to the question, Ronnie Anne grinned her teeth. “Are you trying to make me feel guilty!?”

“What happened when you got kissed by-” Stella being cut off.

“Nevermind!”

Lincoln began to shake with his hand sweating. “Well…a girl would never-” Alisa placed her finger on his lips.

“Cherish you back because she thinks you're a creep?”

“We’ve known them even at your age, but that all changes tonight.” Carlota added.

“You have to at least meet one girl who would never see you as a creep when you kiss her on her cheek.” Alisa then backed away from Lincoln after she gave back his glove.

“Ms. DiMartino!” Carlota called to which the beautiful Latin American descent appeared out in the open, too much of Ronnie Anne and the others.

“Here we go again.” Stella signed.

“Tell me about it.” Ronnie Anne agreed.

Lincoln’s eyes were glued at her substitute teacher back in elementary school. As if it wasn’t enough, her Santa uniform made her far prettier to where she’s the most attractive when she’s way into the Christmas spirit.

“Ba…ba…ba…” Lincoln’s heart pounding while Ms. DiMartino smiled.

“Don’t act like you don’t know me, and don’t even act that I don't know what I’m doing.”

“By the looks of it, it seems you're intellectually distracting him to make him flustered.” Ronnie Anne replied.

“If I knew her personally while she and Bobby were in the same school instead of Royal Woods, I would’ve helped out right away.” Carlota replied.

Lincoln didn’t even pay attention to his friends due to Ms. DiMartino’s unlimited beauty. She placed her hand on Lincoln’s cheek, leaning down to give him an eye to eye discussion. “Imagine yourself when I’m your age, as a gorgeous young girl even as a twelve year old. You really want to kiss me on the cheek instead of me making that move.”

“Yo- You’re saying girls like you felt the same way I’ve felt?” Lincoln stuttered.

“Would I lie if I was in denial? You don’t even know what my school life was before I became a substitute teacher.” She then took off Lincoln’s winter hat, for being the only boy with white hair, her memory of remembering which kid she substituted wasn’t hard at all. “I’ve never met a boy with white hair in my life, and for the girls in your school, that would always see you as the odd one.”

“How does that mean anything?” Sid wondered.

“I mean it as a good thing, as a one of a kind for a girl.”

“For a girl who wants to be cherished by a boy who knows her personally?” Stella commented.

“Yes, I never had that as a student, but even as an adult, it shows that I’m not one of those girls in Lincoln’s classes.” Ms. DiMartino then turned to Lincoln’s hand, just like Alisa did earlier. But the way she saw it, Lincoln was shaking. Even after a long time since he saw her, it was different for him to get over his crush towards the substitute teacher. “I just want you to understand, you can’t impress me completely after the many gifts you gave me.”

Lincoln did listen to what she said, but on the other hand, it was the truth that needed to be spoken. “Is it because you're not like my friends?”

“Yes, but if there’s one thing I appreciate from you is that you actually care for a girl, or woman in this case.” She then stood up and backed away from Lincoln. “And another thing, you have to see a girl yourself in order to kiss her the right way.”

Without any introduction whatsoever, Belle came out in the open, while Lincoln took notice with Ms. Dimartino out of his peripheral vision. Belle only gave him a straight look while placing her hands on her hips. Lincoln only stared at her, but not in the same way towards his substitute teacher, he barely knows her but her looks is what stands her out the most.

“Have I…ever met you before?” Lincoln blinked.

“Did I remember you acting like a weirdo when I was waiting to use the bathroom?” Belle still gave the boy the same look when she appeared.

“Belle, I don’t think he remembers anything.” Carlota said.

“It was one of the many things I’ve remembered on that day, don’t act like that day had other things going on.” She turned to Carlota and back to Lincoln. “Anyway, my sister told me who you were right before we moved out of Royal Woods.”

“Who is your sister?” Lincoln replied.

“Cristina.”

Lincoln never forgot the day he embarrassed himself in favor of his sisters, but after coming across several more girls, he didn’t remember Cristina. In fact, he only remembered her in such a short amount of time, he assumed she or her sister moved on.

“Did she show you that embarrassing video of me?”

“Uh huh.”

“Did that convince you that I was a weirdo?”

“Or a lame-o?” Ronnie Anne commented.

“Neither.” Belle answered while Lincoln became surprised after acting sarcastic. “In case you haven’t noticed, we didn’t move because of you. I got a model job at Great Lake City to make more money than the old job from Royal Woods. Tell me, what information did you expect?”

“Apparently, for how I acted towards girls like her.” Lincoln lowered his head. “That video may not have been viral anymore but-”

“Zip it!” She cut him off while pulling him out of the barber’s chair. “I never convinced her to be in a relationship with someone like you, romance or not.” She then lifted Lincoln from the ground, ripping his winter clothing. “But I don’t let anyone who messes with my sister get off scot free!”

“Okay, who gave you the idea that I’m one of those people?” Lincoln being scared. “I didn’t hurt your sister.”

“Yeah, why are you threatening him?” Carlota grabs Lincoln away from Belle, placing him down while confronting her. “It’s not your fault your boyfriend gave you a hard time.”

“Don’t act like he’s the victim the moment I broke up with him!”

“Okay, everyone SHUT UP!” Ronnie Anne yelled which everyone took notice of. “We’ve been in here for close to ten minutes and I officially lost my patience!” As she walked past her best friend, she looked straight to her cousin. “What are you trying to do? I’m serious.”

Carlota wanted to keep this a secret from Lincoln, but she refused to keep Ronnie Anne in the dark. “Okay, you and you two come into the bathroom with me.” Upon pointing at Stella and Sid, they all head to the bathroom.

“What about me?” Lincoln wondered.

“You stay there.” As Carlota took three of Lincoln’s friends in the bathroom for a private conversation. Lincoln on the other hand, sat back down on the barber’s chair.

“Yeah, me staying here will definitely help Girl Jordan now.” He sighed. “She’s never going to enjoy her Christmas here.” He then placed both of his hands on his face, depressed to even celebrate with both families.

Alisa, Ms. DiMartino, and Belle would expect the white hair child to catch on to what they’re referring to, but Belle didn’t entirely think this through. Both Alisa and Ms. DiMartino glared at Belle after nearly causing a fight with their lead singer. With regret in herself, she took a deep breath while walking up to Lincoln. She kneeled down while placing her hand on his shoulder.

“Cristina is hanging out with Girl Jordan at the park while she leads her to a mistletoe hanging above her.” Upon the truth coming out, Lincoln looked at Belle. “And what Carlota wanted is to convince you to…you know.”

“Carlota and us didn’t have enough time to fully work this out.” Ms. Dimartino added.

“We thought you would understand that…you're that person and the girl metaphors were Girl Jordan.” Alisa added.

“And Cristina was gonna lure you under the mistletoe with Girl Jordan.” Belle backing away. “And…she also wanted to talk to you just as she left.”

Lincoln finally caught on, knowing that Ronnie Anne’s cousin needed the time to plan out, but he was never against the idea, especially the true meaning behind it. “Did Carlota tell Girl Jordan about this?”

“Actually, no.” Alisa answered. “When she and Cristina left, she told us what motivated you to help Girl Jordan.”

This eventually gave Lincoln an idea. “I think you all need to go to the mall with your leader.” He smiled. “I can handle this from here.”

“What about the others?” Ms. DiMartino wondered.

“I’m sure they'll know when they catch on like I just did.” As he puts his hat back after getting it back, he heads straight to the door not until he thinks of another idea. “Hey Alisa, are you friends with Yoon Kwan?”

“Yeah?” Alisa answered.

“Why don’t you call him and his group to head to the park as well.” This caused Alisa and the others to look at each other. “It’s for Sid.”

“Okay then.” Alisa taking out her phone. Lincoln heads out the door, making his way to the park. Then Carlota and the kids came out of the bathroom after learning about the truth.

“You can’t expect Lincoln to kiss Girl Jordan blindly.” Ronnie Anne replied.

“Believe me, it’s safe to tell him the truth by kissing her the right way.” When Carlota looked around, Lincoln was nowhere to be found. “Where’s your friend?”

“He’s on his way to the park.” Belle answered.

“Looks like he was just as impatient as I was.” Ronnie Anne rolled her eyes.

“Speaking of impatience, we should actually go to the mall right now.” Ms. DiMartino smiled. “We’ve helped Lincoln enough.”

“How hard was it for all of you to give Lincoln metaphors?” Stella wondered.

“We had less than an hour, we weren’t even gonna kiss him.” Carlota retorted.

“Can we please go to the mall now?” Alisa politely said. “They got everything under control.”

“And I’ll text Cristina to come to the mall once she’s done.” Belle replied. “I know she’s not gonna stay at the park once she’s done.”

After taking out her stress by telling the truth, Carlota may have done enough to help, especially with her cousin’s friend. “Ronnie Anne.” She turned to her cousin. “The only thing I want from you and your friends is to let Lincoln do this by himself. Sorry for wasting your time.”

“You could’ve just told us without Lincoln knowing.” Ronnie Anne said. “But sure, if I know Lincoln, he makes…surprising moments…for the better at least.”

“He’ll do great.” Carlota smiled. “We'll be back at the apartment before dinner.”

“So will Lincoln and Girl Jordan…hopefully.”

As the two groups went their separate ways, the sky turned pitch black with every Christmas light lighting up. The park itself is where nearly all the people spend their time, enjoying the beauty of the lights all around them.

After crossing the street, Lincoln arrived at the park, but found no signs of Cristina nor Girl Jordan. But upon stepping into the park, Cristina spotted him while hiding behind a tree. While Lincoln continued to search from both directions, Cristina was standing right behind him, she didn’t speak a word, especially the last time she saw him before she moved.

Lincoln then stopped in the middle of a bridge over the frozen river. He looked at the edge with more Christmas lights in the distance, unfortunately he still couldn’t find anyone, even by knowing what to do.

“Maybe Girl Jordan hates getting kisses, it may be too little too late.” He said to himself while Cristina eavesdropped. “If only she told me about her problem to begin with, I would’ve helped her out in the new year.”

“All the while making her sad and lonely at the happiest time of the year?” Cristina guessed.

When Lincoln turned around, he saw Cristina for the first time in forever, but even to this day, she isn’t excited, nor surprised. Lincoln on the other hand thought his dreams were the only way to see Cristina again and again, but during a time where she was the girl he thought he wanted.

“Technically, I already have a gift for her for Christmas tomorrow morning.” Lincoln answered.

“Too typical.” Cristina said, crossing her arms.

“You’re just assuming she won’t accept it.”

“I haven’t made a lot of friends since moving here. Great Lake City’s folks aren’t the same as Royal Woods.”

Lincoln rolled his eyes, not liking the way his former classmate was speaking in a rude tone. “Would it hurt you to be nice to someone who made mistakes?”

“Well I would take that as a compliment but…I never knew you personally so…” Cristina just witnessed two grown adults walking past, making sure no one is listening to her. “Were you really…imagining yourself kissing me just like in that video a long time ago?”

“No, it’s a long story between me and my sisters. If I really felt that way, I would’ve stalked you but, I’m not that kind of person.” As Lincoln came out clean, Cristina figured she went too harshly on him, little did she know about him from the beginning. “Your sister Belle told me you were here and-”

“Don’t jinx it.” She interrupted. “The thing is, Belle and I only hung out when the holidays came around or when she offered to pick the dress for her modeling dress, even her bikinis.” She cringed while Lincoln blushed.

“Too much information.”

“They don’t call her Thicc QT in magazines for nothing.” Cristina giggled. “And online.”

“Okay, back on topic!” Lincoln reacted. “So, after all this time, even moving out of Royal Woods, what would you feel if a boy kissed you?”

“Probably disgusted, and still moved classes from that boy.”

Lincoln lowered his head, not liking the answer for a bit. “You never like the idea of having a boyfriend when you get older?”

“No.” Cristina then leaned against the bridge branch. “Look, I know you’re a nice kid, and I know I should’ve known you before I made the choice to avoid you, but thinking about it, being a girlfriend just isn’t my thing unlike Belle.”

“Is it because of what Belle’s boyfriend did?”

“You don’t even know the story behind it and it’s between me and her.”

Lincoln knew that personal secrets from families are what keeps them together. But at the same time, if he was close friends with Cristina, he would figure out the problem himself. “Cristina, you may not care about this, but I call myself the Man With A Plan.”

“The Man With A Plan?” She turned to Lincoln.

“I’ve fixed a problem with my siblings or friends a number of times back at Royal Woods. But when it came to Girl Jordan, she was the least of my friends.”

“I’ve known her longer than you have. In fact, what she’s dealing with right now, there was nothing I could do.”

“I don’t blame you completely.”

“At least that’s something we can all agree with.” She smiled. “But when we got here after I met her, she felt happy at first, her tears have gone away, I’ve taken her to a light tunnel. The type of Christmas lights she loves the most.”

“I like light tunnels, I’ve only been in one when I was six.” Lincoln reminiscing about his past.

“Well lucky for you, her first ever light tunnel was also when she was six.”

“Really?” Lincoln smiled.

“Yeah, she told me it became one of her best Christmases ever.” She then backed away from the branch. “Let me show you.” As Cristina led Lincoln the way, the Man With The Plan played along with it, knowing where the mistletoe is at.

“I’ll show you what kind of person I am.” Lincoln giggled.

Meanwhile, Ronnie Anne and the others head inside the park. “So we’re just gonna spy on them?” Stella replied.

“We can’t just ruin the moment for them.” Ronnie Anne said, hiding behind the brushes. “And don’t act like you've never done this in your life.”

“What if one of them spots us?”

“It’s night time, I’m sure they'll never see us.” Sid said. “Besides, we’re gonna be the only ones enjoying the show right?”

“That is, if other visitors are attending.” Ronnie Anne commented.

Lincoln and Cristina found the light tunnel itself, shaped as a square, larger than expected. Lincoln found this light tunnel even more beautiful than the last one he had been to six years ago. Multiple colors with strings of lights hanging from above.

“There she is.” Cristina pointed as Lincoln saw Girl Jordan standing all alone in the middle of the tunnel. “You should take it from here. Prove to me that you're the Man With The Plan.”

“You’ll see the real me, just you wait.” Lincoln smiled as he headed his way to the light tunnel. Upon entering the tunnel, his distraction got the better of him with all the colors around him. The colors he witnessed back then were only red and green, not all colors of the rainbow. “This is way too gorgeous.”

Then he notices Cristina pointing at what’s behind him while walking backwards. He bumped into Girl Jordan, causing her to immediately turn around, much to his reaction. “Man With A Plan indeed.” Cristina rolled her eyes.

“Lincoln.” Girl Jordan took notice.

As Lincoln regained his balance, he tried to make the next move. “Cristina told me you were here.”

“Yeah, I would’ve told you sooner but…I didn’t want to come back to the apartment since I was close to the park.” Girl Jordan replied. “Sorry I left.”

“It may be hard to believe, but my family forgot I was away from home from time to time.” Lincoln placed his hands in his pockets. “But still, would texting me be enough?”

“It was personally between me, Carlota and her singing group.” Girl Jordan lowered her head in shame.

Lincoln didn’t want to say the K word in front of her, knowing it would backfire on him big time. But for what she's been through ever since they left Royal Woods, nothing had changed since arriving at the big city. “You're right, if it was really that personal, then they know something I don’t.”

“If you knew it all along, then you would feel what I felt.”

Behind one of the trees, Ronnie Anne and the others found Lincoln and Girl Jordan in the light tunnel. Then Ronnie Anne noticed something hanging above them. “Okay, I want everyone to stay quiet.” She whispered while taking out her phone.

“Remember when I was the Girl Guru where…I caused a lot of trouble back then?” Lincoln took off his hat to which Girl Jordan nodded. “Was that enough of you to learn that I never feel about you?”

“Kind of.” Girl Jordan said honestly. “But aside from the dutch oven…incident, you didn’t mean to hurt any girl, including me.”

“Yeah sorry a boy gave you a dutch oven, sometimes me and Clyde wanted extra cash by any means necessary.”

“Desperation to the highest level for the class assignment? We’ve all been there, you're never alone in that regard.”

The two giggled at each other. “What if you were the Boy Guru if you were in my shoes?”

“Well I would actually take advice from boys who'd be respectful, and know how to please girls the right way. It’ll save me from a lot of trouble.”

Lincoln then thought about it, and she wasn't wrong. Especially since she never took advice from her family. “Then, what would you say to me?”

Girl Jordan tried to imagine herself in front of boys who need advice similar to the girls. But with Lincoln as her first guest. Before her pool party and before what she did to Rusty, she can think of the only advice that would work for Lincoln.

“Treat the girl who you think is the one?” She guessed.

This gave Lincoln the advantage, but witnessed something hanging from one of the strings of lights. Meanwhile people in the city walked past Cristina, watching two kids in the center but also saw what's above them, even from the other side of the light tunnel. Soon he turned his attention back to Girl Jordan, being completely honest with her.

“Yes, but tell me this, would you do the same thing if that boy is the one?” He smiled.

“I would, if the time was right.” Girl Jordan replied.

Lincoln began to blush, but he refused to mess up his chance, making Girl Jordan in the state she was. “Then I guess fate asked for us today.”

“What do you mean?”

Lincoln then pointed up to which Girl Jordan looked what’s above her. The one string with pink lights has a mistletoe hanging at the end of it which caught the attention from people who witnessed this moment. Girl Jordan felt stunned with the thing she wanted to accomplish, becoming a subject herself. Lincoln slowly made his way as he leaned towards her, pressing his lips on her cheek. Ronnie Anne just pressed the record button right before the moment came while Stella and Sid kept quiet, while admiring another Christmas moment.

Girl Jordan’s eyes shot open with a kiss she’s finally getting after all of her previous failed attempts. Lincoln didn’t hold back at all, in fact he enjoyed the moment he saw the mistletoe itself. Girl Jordan froze like a statue with her cheeks turning red, while the people from the front and back were enjoying it. Lincoln broke the kiss with a smile on his face.

“Merry Christmas Girl Jordan.” Lincoln replied. He then realized that Girl Jordan didn’t move a muscle, not even a bit aside from blinking. Not only did she finally get what she really wanted for Christmas, but it was a lot better when she didn’t plan it out herself, nor did Lincoln. “Girl Jordan?” He spoke, only to hear laughter with a smile slowly growing from her face.

Her laughter got louder while her blush became more pronounced. “Merry Christmas Lincoln!” She then pressed her lips against his cheek, much to Lincoln’s surprise.

“Awww….” The two crowds from the front and back enjoying the moment. Cristina has seen everything that she needed to see from Lincoln.

“Well, he’s definitely a respectable kisser.” She smiled as her phone rang. Belle just texted her to head her way to the mall, to which she responded she’s on her way. Then the more she thought about it, she’s not done with Lincoln just yet. Since he’s leaving tomorrow, the same goes to her sister.

While she walks away, Girl Jordan breaks the kiss while hugging Lincoln really hard. “I never thought it couldn’t get any better than I pictured it!”

“So do I!” Lincoln smiled. “If only I'd known you more, this would’ve happened a long time ago.”

As Girl Jordan broke the hug, she took Lincoln’s hat from him. “If I lured you in, you wouldn’t have kissed me, wouldn’t you?” She asked, putting his hat back on his head.

“Yeah, I probably wouldn’t  expect you to do that.”

“Come to think of it, I didn’t think this through completely.”

“It takes years of practice to become the Man With The Plan. Then again I doubt you'll ever become the Woman With The Plan. And it didn’t sound as catchy.”

“Well what are you gonna do?” Girl Jordan giggled as she took Lincoln’s hand. “Let’s go back to the apartment.” The two kids walked together as they went past the crowd and outside the tunnel of lights.

“Anything can happen in Great Lake City.” Ivan smiled.

“Especially during Christmas.” Blanca added.

“It will never get old.” Vito added.

Meanwhile, Ronnie Anne pressed the record button again as she saw enough. “That was beautiful!” Stella commented.

“Breathtaking.” Sid said with sparkles in her eyes.

“Okay, let’s not get carried away and get back to my apartment.” Ronnie Anne replied. “Lincoln’s family must be here by now.”

“Please tell me you’re gonna prank him by showing that video to your classmates?”

“No, I’m gonna show this to my family, they will understand. Even though Abuela would be disappointed.”

“Well, at least they know you’re not in...a relationship with Lincoln.” Stella smiled.

“Yeah, tell that to his family, including Lori.”

Ronnie Anne and her friends head their way back to the entrance of the park but upon stepping out of the park, they bumped into one of the most famous bands of all time, Twelve is Midnight. Ronnie Anne and Sid were shocked, especially that Sid knew that they would be in the city eventually.

“Did you call Twelve Is Midnight, Ronnie Anne?” Stella asked while Ronnie Anne shook his head.

“Alisa called us that we should head to the park to wish you girls a Merry Christmas!” Yoon Kwan replied.

“Especially by singing a Christmas Carol.” Jin added.

“Oh we are thrilled to watch you sing Christmas classics.” Sid squealed but little did she know, she still had her mistletoe hat on, much to the band's surprise.

“A mistletoe.” Han pointed out which Sid noticed, in fact she didn’t plan it the way she wanted.

“I’ll take it from here.” Yoon Kwan walked up to Sid while leaning down. “Merry Christmas.” He pressed his lips against Sid’s cheek, all the while Sid’s face turned beet red with her body shaking slightly. As Yoon breaks the kiss, Sid felt like her life was complete. She then grew a huge smile on her face, squealing harder than she ever did.

“YES! YES! YES!!!” She screamed at the top of her lungs. “I’ve got a kiss from Yoon Kwan!” She hugged Ronnie Anne and Stella.

“Really proud of you.” Ronnie Anne losing her hearing.

“I can still feel what his lips were like…” She broke the hug while turning to the band. “I will NEVER dishonor you ever again!”

Then Lincoln and Girl Jordan saw the entrance after hearing the scream. “Ronnie Anne?” Girl Jordan walked up to his friends. “What just happened?”

“Yoon Kwan just gave Sid a kiss on the cheek.” Ronnie Anne answered.

“By the looks of it, she’s probably not gonna clean her face anytime soon.” Stella commented.

“She’ll be fine.” Lincoln giggled. “Let’s go home.” As Lincoln and his friends prepare to walk on the crossroad, Ronnie Anne pulls Sid away from Twelve Is Midnight. The band themselves felt uncomfortable from the way Sid reacted from the kiss.

“Let’s agree we should never kiss a girl when a mistletoe is involved.” Yoon Kwan turned to his band group.

“Definitely!” They all responded as they headed inside the park.

Lincoln and his friends made it back to the apartment where The Loud Family arrived in time for Christmas dinner. With both families rejoicing for the holidays, Girl Jordan had the best Christmas Eve of her life. As for Lincoln himself, he’s thankful that everyone, even his best friends are enjoying themselves. Not to mention that Carlota made it back just to thank her for what she did for him earlier.

Of course if it wasn’t for her singing group, she would’ve spilled the beans then rather cut the chase already. After Christmas dinner, everyone went to sleep while sharing bedrooms for the Loud Family. Lincoln and Girl Jordan shared a room in Ronnie Anne’s bedroom. Girl Jordan wanted to sleep right by Lincoln, even in her own sleeping bag. Usually she wanted to sleep alone after her failed attempts but she’s far from depressed. And she will never have the feeling during the Christmas season ever again.

The dawn of Christmas came in Great Lake City as everyone woke up. The rest of the family from Frida’s apartment head back to Ronnie Anne’s apartment as they’re ready for the family gift swap. It took time for both family members to open their gifts, while appreciating each other.

Lincoln and Girl Jordan sat together on the sofa while enjoying the bonding of the Loud Family and The Casagrandes. After Lori opened her gift from her boyfriend, she noticed her brother enjoying his time with Girl Jordan. Just when Ronnie Anne walked past her, she stopped her.

“Have you noticed that Girl Jordan had been holding onto Lincoln’s hand since we started?” She asked.

“Yes, even last night.” Ronnie Anne smiled. “My cousin and her singing group took care of everything.”

Lori got over the fact Lincoln isn’t in a romantic relationship with Bobby’s sister, but she was hoping he would find another way, and he did. Then someone banged on the door which caught Carlota’s attention.

“I’ll get it.” She replied as she opened the door, revealing Belle. “Yes Belle?”

“Does Lincoln have time for himself?” She asked. “My sister bought some things from the mall after we were done.”

Carlota saw Cristina with two Christmas presents in her arms. “It’s for Lincoln and Girl Jordan.”

“Okay, give me a minute.” Carlota closed the door as she walked up to Lincoln and Girl Jordan. “Can you two come with me to my apartment?”

“Sure.” Lincoln smiled as he and Girl Jordan got off the sofa. Carlota took the two out of Ronnie Anne’s apartment and straight to hers. “Belle and Cristina decided to drop by?”

“Cristina has presents for both of you.”

“It’s mostly for helping out yesterday.” Belle answered. “And she decided to pick gifts herself.”

“Well that's…nice and…” Lincoln scratched the back of his head.

“Unexpected, even during Christmas morning?” Cristina guessed. “And even when we finally met yesterday?”

“They got the picture fairly well.” Carlota replied.

“Merry Christmas.” Cristina handed her gifts to Lincoln and Girl Jordan. “Consider this a gift from your newest friend.”

“Yeah, in Great Lake City, but I can get used to it.” Lincoln smiled.

“Well, it looks like I’m gonna have to convince my parents to come over to the big city from time to time somehow.” Girl Jordan clinched her teeth.

“Open up your gifts already.” Belle smiled.

Lincoln and Girl Jordan opened their gifts and it’s revealed to be two turtle doves with a heart around their necks. When they took notice of the other gift, they then looked at each other with their cheeks turning red. Carlota couldn’t believe it but Belle liked the way her sister handled it.

“They were the final ones on sale.” Cristina commented. “Do you two like it?”

Lincoln and Girl Jordan turned their attention to Cristina. When they looked at their turtle doves again, they didn’t look cheap at all. “Turtle doves are supposedly symbols of good luck.” Girl Jordan smiled.

“Especially for new relationships.” Lincoln commented. “We do like it.”

The two walk up to Cristina as they give her a hug. Cristina accepted the hug, after giving them the gift that’ll make them closer than ever. “Have you two figure out your new year's revolutions?”

“Not yet.” Girl Jordan replied while breaking the hug.

“But we’re gonna start hanging out once we get back to school.” Lincoln smiled. “The only thing we’re gonna make sure of is that our friends don’t see these.”

“Including our families.” Girl Jordan added. “But I doubt we’re gonna make it through Valentine’s Day.”

“Hey, someday they’re gonna see those turtle doves.” Belle crossed her arms.

“But at the very least, it’s not like they’re gonna be against it.” Carlota commented. “All that matters is to enjoy Christmas in peace.” She made her way to open the door only to witness The Loud Family and The Casagrandes rushing in the room, circling around Lincoln and Girl Jordan.

“It’s true!” Leni wrapping her fingers.

“This is way cuter than Lincoln and Ronnie Anne together!” Lola awwing.

“Those turtle doves are more than good luck.” CJ commented.

“Bet they’re turtling along, hahahahaha.” Luan giggled.

Lincoln and Girl Jordan stood still with two families learning about the truth right away then usually. “I’m going to assume they’d eavesdropped on us somehow.” Girl Jordan blushed.

“Welcome to my family.” Lincoln rolled his eyes.

Back in Ronnie Anne’s apartment, Ronnie Anne, Stella, Lori, and Bobby sat together on the sofa. “Your families are so unavoidable.” Stella replied.

“You didn’t even see what happened during Thanksgiving.” Lori said, drinking some hot coco.

“It was a wild turkey mess.” Bobby commented.

“At least I’m no longer mistaken as his girlfriend anymore.” Ronnie Anne signing. “Then again, Lincoln’s gonna have a long school semester back at Royal Woods next year.”
