October to November 2022: Jingling Times

In the Philippines, we don't celebrate Thanksgiving, so we go straight to Christmas (but we did start back in September). With that out of the way, here's a quick update:

• Work on the Stellar Flare-focused [SCYTALE] has been going, but it's been going at a rather slow pace, still in the outlining phase. This is partly because I'm using the Snowflake Method to the fullest, whereas the only other story I've used it on, Yellow Light Waves, had it stop halfway through so I could have time to write for the Ancestral Tribute contest (which, by the way, has just finished! I hope I can get at least a few more of these up in my reading list early next year!) Other than that, I will let you know once the outlining phase is finally done.
• But another reason why it's been going a bit slow is because I'm also now doing a bit of writing work for the Hearts of Iron IV mod Equestria at War. No details on what I'm helping with, but the experience has been fun.

• I've finished Paracompact's Bug in a Blizzard which is something I'd joyfully recommend for something that's more than just a changeling-infused mystery. In that vein, I'd also recommend Anneal's Confidential Cases of Crystalstar Corporation, which is also a mystery, though set in the Equestria at War universe. While it's just starting out and not yet complete, it holds up very decently and has great potential for another favorite... well, mystery fic.
