I literally wrote two words more today then yesterday. Constant progress baby! And I finished the M/M story so we can check that one off.
Man, I can absolutely never guess what stories are going to pop off. I finished writing Sunset’s Motorcycle and was like ‘well that was weird. Off to the presses.’ I barely even edited it! And yet it’s gaining a ton of traction.
What’s the reason? Do people like short stories that are quick and easy? Are people super into romance? Equestria Girls? Sunset Shimmer?
Is it me? Did my daily blogs do their intended effect and start making heads look my way?
The world will never know! But it’s fun to think about how, not necessarily random, but unpredictable the internet can be. Well, hopefully everyone will like my Spike/Thorax story next week just as much. Or maybe they won’t because the secret is Sunset Shimmer. Idk. I wouldn’t blame people though, Sunset is amazing.
Writing tip: Don’t delete anything! Nano is about power and drive not if you’re ‘writing a good story’ or other such nonsense.

My contest entry from yesterday became my most-viewed story within hours. I also don't know how it happened. I actually have been writing Sunset ships already, so maybe that's not it? Who really knows.
Good job on getting so much writing done, in general. I am far less consistent and just end up doing things in bursts.

Huh! Maybe this contest has gold in it. More people should join, apparently it will lead to success.
I currently don't have a job so if I'm not consistent writing what excuse do I have???

You know, now that I think on it, it might be the unique ship. I know when I first saw your story posted I thought "ooh, Sunset and Gilda? That's interesting!" so that was definitely a strong factor.
