Uncle's Stroke. I just want to get this of my chest. · 12:08pm Nov 6th, 2022

So this is something that I recently heard that is happening. I just wanted to tell someone.

My uncle is suffering from a stroke and we heard not long ago that it is terminal. It is a bit of a shock to hear as he is just in his 40s. I sadly couldn't get to know him to well because I live in Europe and he in Africa, but I still have some good memories of him. He was a kind man who loves his family and took good care of my mother and the rest of her part of the family, he was very reliable. He was someone you could laugh with and liked to spoil me and my little brother when whe came to visit. I can still remember that the first time we came and visit that part of the family that they literally showed us with candy even if they didn't have mutch money.

Thank you for listening to me.

Your welcome...no one should hold all the memories to themselves...cause..as long as ONE memory that involves them is in someone's heart...they still live on in a way...atleast...that's how I view it...hurts when they are gone...but at least they left some things behind to live on with...mainly the memories others have of them...lost my last grand mother 4 years ago cause she got to old and forgot everything.....her..her last breath was when I was hugging her when she requested it...the most painful part about that...was that I did not know until my mom told me about that...litterslly passed on while I was giving her a hug...

Always hard when something happens to family, even if you don’t know them well. My grandmother’s brother’s ex-wife (ok that sounded ridiculous, but it’s literally who she was), past away from lung cancer some years ago. Despite the divorce, she was still part of the family and a ray of sunshine for everyone. I miss her dearly. :fluttercry:
