While they were en route to the Demon's lair, they all found a transport tube that has the same wheel that lists the same destinations, but with an extra name on the wheel.
“What is Digi-onia?” Sunset asked.
“Oh, yeah. We’ll explain that later,” Emily replied, showing expressions of nervousness.
“Of course. I hate surprises!” Johnny exclaimed, feeling angry. Rings on his suit starts glowing bright red and he’s feeling like he's on fire.
“That’s enough, John! Let’s focus on how we can get to wherever the demon is.” Applejack said, breaking up what seems like a fight that’s about to start. As Applejack calms him down, his rings had extinguished the digital flames.
“We’ll go to Digi-tonia after we get rid of the demon.” Mary promised.
Just minutes later, they hear a buzzing sound.
“What’s that noise and where is it coming from?!” Twilight asked, covering her ears and feeling pained.
It was when they noticed some bugs fluttering towards them.
“Oh, they’re just some innocent creatures waiting for our care. It looks like they’re lost.” Fluttershy replied, feeling bad.
She then starts to approach the creatures. “Fluttershy, no!” Steve said, sneezing and trying to stop Fluttershy from running towards the bugs.
“Hey, little bugs. Are you lost?” Fluttershy asked, approaching the creatures.
“Must destroy intruders.” The bugs said robotically.
What?” Fluttershy asked, confused.
The bugs start charging and Cleo steps in, pushing Fluttershy out of the way.
“No!” Cleo exclaimed as the bugs zapped her and threw her back.
“Cleo!” The group exclaimed, seeing their friend on the ground and starting to pixelate. They all approached her and tried to snap her out of her pixelation.
“Cleo, wake up! Stay with us. We can’t save Cyberspace without you!” Spike said, flying beside her.
“I can’t go on any longer. I'm returning back to the hideout. I just you’ll just have to fight the demon without me.” Cleo replied.
“We can’t go without you,” Emily replied, sad.
“Don’t worry. I’ll transfer my map over to you guys.” Cleo said, as she gives her map to Twilight to digitally store within her body. “Good luck, everyone.” She said as she explodes into pixels that fly away back to the hideout.
“That’s it!” Rarity exclaimed as she and the gang prepared themselves for battle. “You’re going to pay for what you did to our friend!”
The bugs start to surround the group as the gang summon their weapons.
Spike scans the area with his sonar and shoots laser beams from his eyes, blasting the bugs and having them explode into pixels. “Take that, you pests!” Spike said, as he was blasting away.
“Time to take it up a notch!” Rainbow said as she summoned her jetpack, flew around the bugs and blasted those creatures with her cannons.
“They’re all yours, Pinkie!” Rainbow signals.
“Okie Dokie Lokie!” Pinkie exclaimed as she turned her arms into cannons so she could blast those bugs with her sugar detonators.
“My turn.” Fluttershy replied, having her whistle appear and blowing on it.
Instantly, a pack of digi-dogs and digital animals appear and attack the bugs.
“Let the Great and Powerful Trixie join in,” she said as she summons her wand and blasts the bugs and turns them into light bulbs, books and anything she can think of.
Sunset blasts plasma beams from her staff, Twilight scans for any bugs that come their way, Applejack circles her lasso around the bugs and deletes those within her weapon, Rarity slaps the bugs with her whip, and the others do their part.
Sometime later, all the bugs are vanquished.
“That takes care of those creatures,” Sunset said
“Where were we?” Starlight asked.
“We were on the way to the demon’s airship.” Sunset said.
“Oh, yeah. We have to keep going.” Rachel replied.
“I have the map that’ll take us there.” Twilight said as she projected Cleo’s map.
“Well, what are we waiting for? We have to keep going!” Rainbow replied.
“We’ll show that beast that we mean business!” Applejack said as the group continued onward.
Meanwhile on the Demon’s airship…
“How?! How did those pathetic brats beat my army?! I’ll beat those kids if it’s the last thing I’ll do!!” The demon said in anger, swearing revenge on the group that vanquished her army.
Sometime later, they find pads that each have a button with the word “the airship”.
“Looks like that’s the thing Cleo was talking about,” Applejack said, inspecting the button.
“It is.” Rachel said, as she and the gang enter their own pads, press the button and teleport themselves to their destination.
