One of the most important (and most often forgotten) parts of a societies entrance into galactic politics is just that:  Its entrance.  The first contact, and the social, political, and economic transitions that follow one, tend to reshape the way entire species view their world.  

Join 63rd century Uranian investigative reporter Ian Miligaux, as he travels approximately 30000 light years from Sol in order to learn from eyewitness accounts about Equestria's own first contact with galactic civilization, a scant 54 years ago.
