Future Prospects. · 4:41am

So I keep telling myself that I don't have enough time to write another story. But only a day after I finally finished the last chapter of The Mailmare, I realized I'm really sad now. I'm sad because it's over. I'm sad because I've realized that, for the first time in well over a year now, I have nothing to write.

I started writing in late July, 2011. To some people, that may not seem very long ago, and to most people, it really shouldn't. But to me, it seems like an eternity ago. And after spending so much time constantly thinking about what I'm going to write next and wondering how people are going to react to it... I'm really starting to miss that feeling already.

So although my last comment seemed to suggest that I wouldn't write anything else, I do plan on writing again. I'm not really sure when, but it won't be so far in the future. And, as I have begun to realize, most of you seem to appreciate my comedies more than my tragedies, so I expect it to be something funny and, more than likely, nonsensical.

In the mean time, I need to find an editor, or at least someone willing to read over my nonsense once or twice. And even more importantly, I need to come up with some new ideas. Nonsense may be nonsense, but my nonsense needs to have some rhythm to it.

The Mailmare

It was supposed to be boring. The Annual Magic Users Convention is the one event of the year that recognizes all the accomplishments that unicorns, alicorns and other magic users have made. It's usually a night of long-winded speeches, mind-numbing presentations and unappetizing food. But when a certain mailmare finds two tickets to the convention addressed to her house, she decides that it is not only her privilege, but her duty to attend. And after suitably preparing herself for the occasion, she changes what is usually a boring night into one of the wildest and most bizarre experiences in a thousand years.

Hello sir or madame,

I am Obsidian Raindrop the creator of a group known as The Great and Not Obsessive Trixie   I am here to ask if you would like your story to be added to my group.

The only requirements are:

1. You have a story about Trixie and she is not completely obsessing over her lose at the hands of Twilight. (She can hate that she lost to twilight and even try and beat again but she just can't be be so obsessive like she is in most stories. )

2.  She may be a supporting character or a main character it does not matter.

3. i can`t think of a third thing

Sorry to all those who either received this email twice or who don`t have trixie as a main or supporting character. Also just PM me if you want your story added.

Hello,

It's me Obsidian again asking you guys to do stuff you don't want to.

1. tell me the name of your story and the one folder you want it in

2.join the group it is really cool and we'll soon get a banner up

3. fallow because it will boost my confidence

Yours truly, Obsidian Raindrop

>>145356 I feel like a broken record right now, but that's okay, you guys have every reason to ask. I've been so unreasonably slow with this chapter that I could've been knocked unconscious for an entire month and I'd still have finished it by now.

Regardless, I work on it every night now. Part of the problem is that the next chapter is going to be the last chapter, so I have a lot of ground to cover. It's not that I don't like writing anymore, I just don't have the time to write as consistently anymore. But I strongly believe that a person should finish what they've started, so I will finish this in due time.

I was prepared to release a new chapter about two weeks ago, it was going to be just half of the final chapter, but my prereader in charge of "making sure it's actually funny" said it wasn't any good. So, of course, that adds a bit to my time because I also believe in doing things well. So I had to rewrite a very large section, (about 14 pages) that wasn't entertaining.

The only thing I can tell you right now is that I've finished about 16 pages of the last chapter and I have about 6 to 8 more pages to write. And, of course, I plan on working on it again tonight and getting a couple more pages done.
