She was a goddess, Princess of the Night and co-ruler of a mighty nation.

She was a sister, beloved by the Sun who now weeps at her passing.

She was tortured, whether by herself or by others.

Most importantly she was broken, and it would be a thousand years before she could pick up the pieces.

Equestria, a fertile land of open fields and lush forests. The year is 3 A.F., and this land has been claimed by the triumvirate of the pony races. Earth-Ponies work the land and cultivate food, the Unicorns spend their time constructing a grand fortress, and the strength of a Pegasus legion guards the nation from above. Getting to these golden years was difficult and even now not everypony is willing to put aside their old differences, but they have succeeded against all odds to make this dream a reality.

However their peace is soon to be threatened by none other than their own kin. Hostile pegasus legions descend upon Cloudsdale hoping to break the back of Equestria's military, while armies of battle-mages patrol the borders.

The assailants?

The Alliance and the Kingdom of Frilacia. Both factions are so fervently caught in the old ways that they will stop at nothing to make sure their peace loving counterparts are eradicated.

Follow Commander Hurricane and the other founders, as the defence of their nation reveals sinister plots where even the Gods themselves may be held responsible.
