Well, I'm finally starting to make some headway on my first fic. No teasers just yet (that'd give away the surprise, and besides, it's very rough at the moment (I like to get it to at least first draft  first.

I will say that it is a shipfic. That probably goes without saying - I'm a shipfic tragic (I almost exclusively read ship fics, something about a year ago I would probably have profusely denied I'd ever do.

I do need help on one thing though. It's a one line, throwaway gag. Basically, the most outmoded and completely unreasonable advice to get a date (context: It has to get Ms. Sparkle to put down a book and call said title into question, so OBVIOUSLY ridiculous is the keyword).

Aside from that, I'm getting so behind on everything else. I spend waaay too much time reading everyone's awesome fanfics. Seriously, you guys (and ladies) rock!

In other uninteresting news I got PC-BSD running today. Think I can find the settings to use for my 3g dongle? Nope. Grr.
