Luminous has been banished from the heavens above for defying the almighty power that is god. At random chance, he's sent to Equestria, where he just might experience a thing called personal hell.

After discovering a long lost Starswirl the Bearded book, Twilight finds an unfinished spell that allows you to leap across dimensions at will. After her friends come over to test the spell, The spell malfunctions and instead of sending one to a set point, it sent them all to an unknown universe where they meet smaller versions of themselves.

Twilight begins remembering things about her friends.
