It has been ten years since an unexplained explosion ripped the land apart and poisoned the air.

From the poison was born many hardships that brought out the worst in ponies.

What wasn't destroyed by the explosion was ravaged by the desperate struggle for survival ponies were thrown in as the fires still burned the once great cities.

Shortly after the riots ended and ponies were struggling to find some symbolism of order and leadership, the poison had seeped into the water, slowly turning ponies sick.

The sick lost their minds and soon turned to savage beasts with an insatiable blood lust and a tendency to swarm ponies in groups.

The ponies settlements needed most to survive had taken to wandering and seeking adventure or redemption in the wastes.

But life went on.

My description is a short prologue.

The actual story takes place a decade after all this in that time no one seems to use.

Seems these kinds of stories are always right as the world is dying, or long enough for several generations to make themselves comfortable and rebuild quite a bit.

Loosely based off of Fallout. Mostly things like the Sick being feral ghouls and poison being radiation.

Additional characters are present and may be more prominent, but I won't tag them until I'm sure.

I could also use a decent cover art and maybe a name that doesn't suck.

Pony names escape me.
