When the relations between the Zebra homeland and Equestria are strained, the Princesses decide to send Zecora as an envoy to negotiate. Conveniently enough, Zecora is pressed by a letter from her mother and her sickness, which can only be cured by a potion grown from specific ingredients. The now older Applebloom (cutie mark included) joins her master to adventure across the land and save the world from a threat unlike any known to ponykind.
