It's been a long time coming, but Chapter 6 is finally on it's way out the door. I recently had a few epiphanies with where I wanted to go and what I wanted to do with the story and the result has been fantastic. Currently, I estimate that I have around 3-5 chapters worth of story lined out.

All I have to do is write it, and boy have I been doing that.

Between today and yesterday I have put down 5400 words of Chapter 6, and have plenty more to go. This may not seem like a lot to some, but seeing as how I try to keep my chapters somewhere around 6k-8k words, that's a pretty big chunk of writing.

Best part? I'm not done writing today, either. Just taking a break. I hope to have the basics put down by the end of the day, spend the rest of the week fleshing it out and editing, and get it out to be pre-read by the weekend. If that all goes well, expect to see the new chapter shortly after!

As for my absence, well... it was caused by several things. Rough spot in life. Lack of motivation. Lack of inspiration. Being sidetracked by other things that just seemed more entertaining than writing did. All of those, but it feels good to be back in the swing of things. It feels very good to be putting words down for my story again, and I don't see that changing anytime soon. I'm probably going to have to spend a few weeks homeless here shortly due to financial issues, but I have a laptop and there are Starbucks around and the story will continue!

If you're reading this: Thanks. Thank you for sticking with me, either via hope that I'll actually get off my ass and write more or by the simple fact that unfavoriting BSC would take effort, I don't care. You're still here regardless, and for that I thank you.

Hey everyone, sorry for disappearing on you for so long... my life kind of got flipped and tossed around for a bit. It's better now, has been for awhile, but I just haven't been able to get back in the groove of writing.

Until recently.

I think I'm finally rolling again. Have managed to put down nearly 2,000 words of Chapter 6 over the past few days, and that desire, that itch to write is coming back. I've got my motivation again, I've got a direction, and my life is... stable enough to sit down and work again so expect an update within the next two weeks, and every two weeks thereafter. Hopefully. As long as life doesn't decide to kick me in the junk again.

Ch. 5 had 2/3rds of it get thrown in the trash, should be ready on monday, though!

CH. 5 is nearly finished being written, will most likely be passed off to my editors tomorrow, and then it's revision time.

I may be able to post the chapter on time on Weds, but it's more likely that it will be 1-2 days late. I acquired another editor after the posting of Ch.4, Rollembones, the author of FoE: Salvage so we might experience a few growing pains in the process. Probably not though, he's an awesome guy and an awesome editor, he may actually speed up the process instead.

Finally, to my great relief, it is time. Ch. 4 is finished, completed, done, and published.

I apologize for the INCREDIBLY long delay between chapters. New job stole all my writing time XD.

It's pretty much stabilized now though, expect updates bi-weekly from here on out! :D

Its been awhile since Ch. 3 came out, and I just wanted to let everypony know that I'm still out here. Still writing.

Ch. 4 is in progress, and is around 33% done. I've been trying out a few new things and it's made progress slow, that and my new job has me working 12+ hour days pretty consistently.

Don't count me out just yet, I've still got some fight left in me!
