There's a popular personality test you may have been introduced to that separates individuals into one of sixteen personality types. It costs 5 dollars US to take, apparently I'm INTJ.
I'd thought if I were to try my hand at writing a story I would use these archetypes to help make a more believable character, and I think Queen Faust may have had a similar idea. That, or she's just used to thinking up interesting characters. So I picked the archetypes that I think best fit the mane six, and a couple of my favorite characters on the site. On the off chance someone reads this I'd be interested in knowing if you feel there is a better fit than one of my choices, or if one of your Favorite OCs lines up with an archetype.
Applejack The Duty Fulfiller
Fluttershy The Nurturer
Twilight Sparkle The Thinker
Rainbow Dash The Doer
Pinkie Pie The Performer
Rarity The Giver
Big Macintosh (from Keeping it Simple) The Mechanic
Sky (from Fragments) The Caregiver

Hello, stranger! Thanks so much for the Fave of Super Amazing Rocket Sled of Awesome! I greatly appreciate it!
>>262600 You did a good job. I especially like the idea that he got confused as to which emotions were his own.
Your stories have been on my read later list for a while. It was a comment of yours pointing out some of the mistakes an author was making in his self insert fic that gave me the push to read them.
Edit: I'd like to explain myself a bit better.
I originally added your story to my read later list instead of starting it right off because the description made it sound like your average "changeling is found in the Everfree and becomes good" story. It was because you were pointing out the sort of flaws that I was worried would be in the story that made me decide you were putting an effort into your work.
I know I have other favorite changeling fics with more likes, but they weren't as consistently enjoyable as this one
I've got to admit, I got such a thrill out of coming here and seeing my story placed among some very excellent changeling stories. I feel so flattered!
Thank ya kindly for tracking What's in a Name! If you haven't already done so, I encourage you to rate and comment.
Thank you very much. That's what I was going for; something that was a little different than most HiE stories.
And yeah, I saw that the other day, how Japanese scientists have made a machine that can (barely) read images in a person's brain. I think I'll keep the intro, though, because that technology isn't very developed yet. :p
>>219676 I always got confused when people would comment on a human turned changeling/pony story, complaining that the protagonist didn't just try telling the truth, because I didn't see how it would help.
It's actually refreshing to see a character with such an optimistic attitude about his situation, I'm looking forward to seeing where you go with it.
Oh, and there is a way to get vague images of what someone is dreaming about, but not much else. I saw someone complaining about dreaming, but I think they just weren't paying enough attention.
Thank you for the favourite!

Thank you, that means a lot to me!

I did a lot more smiling than I expected, those sad tags always intimidate me.
Your interactions between Spike and important characters are pretty much the standard I measure Spike-focused stories against.
Me once more! Thank you so much for the Fave of To Change a Heart! I'm glad I'm still writing things you can enjoy!
