So I've been thinking a lot about WHY I write on my hiatus. And I see what I've been doing wrong this whole time. Every letter of every word I've typed on this site was typed for the wrong reason.

To please others.

I always tried to listen to everyone following me. I didn't care about how I wanted the story to go, I only cared about making everyone else happy. So when I ran out of ideas for Le Retour shortly after ending A Shadow Brought to Light, I grasped for ideas to keep you all happy. That's when A Dash Of Stardust happened, but the drive for that ran out fast. Know why?

That's why I haven't updated in so long. I just don't know how to write for myself. That's why I've been doing Lets Plays here and there, because I enjoy that more than writing. Don't get me wrong, I'm still trying to conjure up some writing skill, but I'm not sure what'll happen from here. I just... I don't really know, really.

I guess I just thought you all should know I'm not dead.

I haven't updated my new story in a month, but I had a good reason. Tons and TONS of schoolwork. Like, seriously, you have no idea how much there was. Now that it's out of the way, I can get back to writing. Expect an update soon. The new chapter is at 1600 words.

Yeah, I would've had an update out sooner, but sadly, my life was in the gutter for a few days, but last night I managed to get everything sorted out, so I'm gonna try to get a chapter for A Dash of Stardust out tonight or tomorrow. School and personal problems are seriously starting to get in my way.

I was in Web Design today. We had to do a lab from the book, which involved cropping a girl's senior photo and making a grad party invite. I got bored, and decided to "spice it up."

I tried to submit my new fic, but I forgot to publish the chapters. I'm trying to publish them now, and the Publish button won't work. I don't know if this is a problem on my end, or the site's end, but something is wrong, and I can't publish this story.

So yeah. I plan on submitting the new fic today, but I don't know when it'll be approved. So until then, you can watch more of The Walking Dead while we wait for the mods to approve my horrible work!
