I haven't updated my new story in a month, but I had a good reason. Tons and TONS of schoolwork. Like, seriously, you have no idea how much there was. Now that it's out of the way, I can get back to writing. Expect an update soon. The new chapter is at 1600 words.

Quick Wits: One of the shyest stallions you will ever meet. He even rivals Fluttershy! Well, all that changes thanks to a chance encounter with... Well, don't let me spoil it for you! Get reading!
This is my attempt at taking a more "quaint" turn in the ways of storytelling. Instead of cut-rate action and dark pasts and all that, these characters will be fairly normal, with a few minor and maybe a single major quirk to them. So don't expect much to keep you on the edge of your seat.
NOTE: One of the main characters has a bad stutter, and I tried my best to make it seem natural, and not come off as annoying. So try not to be too harsh about that.
A stallion by the name of Shadow Weaver, who has led a life of crime for quite a while now, ends up in Ponyville, where a certain mare comes along and causes his life to take a major turn... Possibly for the better.
*A million thanks to Inoeitall for making the cover art!*
I thought they were all just a dream... That I was just nuts. Then, my entire world comes crashing down around me, and I have to go back. BACK TO THE FUT- Wait, oops. I mean BACK TO EQUESTRIA! And with the help of my friends, I can get my life back on track. The RIGHT track.
(In case you don't know, this is the sequel to "How Did I Get Here?" so read that first.)

I've got a couple hundred words on the next chapter, but I haven't gotten any good ideas yet. It's chugging along slowly, I guess. I haven't worked on it at all for months because I just can't think of anything.
>>462273 I think you should just write a chapter maybe like 100 words and just leave it up on you desktop and when you get an idea you can say "hey I should put that in" and you could remove anything you dont like and edit it also.

completely understand. But should you need anyone to assist in making things not shitty, I'm here to help in any fashion. Editing, pre-reading or just bouncing ideas off of.

Yeah, I know. But it's better to not update it than force it and have the updates be shitty, you know?

thats a shame. Really liked that story. Anyway, keep up the great writing.

I'm not really sure. I don't know if I have the inspiration to update it anymore. I won't delete it, thought.
Hey! love the stories, but I've been wondering when you're going to update "le retour". It and "how did i get here" were two of the first fics i read.

Go for it bro. And trust me, I KNOW how you feel with schoolwork bogging you down. Why do you think I haven't managed to update my new fic in for-fucking-ever?
>>425617 This fills me with the happy!
Yeah, I've been wanting to get that rewrite in motion for a while now. It doesn't look likely this term what with school and work, but maybe I can write out what I can here and there and work more on it this summer.
Ve shall see.
