Birthday Chapter/Story · 4:19pm
I'm thinking about releasing a new story on or around my birthday. I was wondering if anyone had an opinion, because I have most of the first chapter of two separate stories almost ready. One is a Bleach Crossover that involves Twilight Sparkle, because I like messing with Twilight in my stories.
The other is an OC story involving a human mercenary and a young colt, set a few decades before season one. I will give excerpts below.
Tip The Balance:
I’m not sure what’s going on, but it’s not good. I’m human again, but I don’t know how I got here this time. There’s a very angry teen chasing after me with a very big sword, and he’s apparently angry at me for... killing... those people over there. I killed people! This... this place is insane! I can fight with a sword? I never learned any of these techniques before... I didn't do anything special last night? ... I... what did I do last night? I... I can’t remember? Why can’t I remember anything? My name is Twilight Sparkle. I’m a unicorn. I... I’m... Uh...
Her train of thought was cut off when Ichigo appeared again, cutting her off. He slashed again, apparently because he thought he could cut her. So she brought her sword up and stopped the slash with both hands, one braced on the back edge of the one-sided blade, the other holding the hilt. She slid her sword down, allowing her to get inside his guard and slash with her much shorter blade, scoring another cut across the ribs. She spun away, running again in the same direction she started in. But Ichigo was being persistent in chasing her down, and he stepped in front of her again, about twenty feet away.
“Stop running, Arrancar. There’s nowhere for you to go.”
A faint glow emanated somewhere to my general left, and I started walking towards it. The glow was a light blue, and it seemed to be coming from a small lump on the floor. As I approached slowly, one of the Magnums in hand, I squatted to get a better look at the glowing object. It was alive, no doubt, as I could see blue fur and a gently heaving side. I glanced at the head of the animal, and I realized that it was a sleeping horse.
A horse with a horn on its head.
I looked at the horn for several seconds as I squatted next to what I presumed to be a glowing, blue unicorn. I shook my head and turned to leave, when the unicorn opened its eyes and regarded my wearily. Damn, the thing had huge eyes. I waved at the unicorn. I’m no pussy, but Jesus Horatio Christ that thing was cute. “Hey,” I said. The unicorn blinked at me again, and it waved back. It fucking waved back. “Hullo,” said the motherfucking talking unicorn. “I am Phase. Who are you?” I stared at the adorable-but-still-motherfucking-talking in a motherfucking-British-accent unicorn for a few seconds before I found my voice again. “Um, most people just call me Merc. Short for Mercenary. But my na-” I was cut off mid sentence as an agonizing pain ripped through my body and I collapsed on the floor. The last thing I heard before blacking out was the voice of the Skull.
“The deal is struck. Now, go.”
