What's up with that guy, seriously?

In case anyone is wondering why I'm bringing up Device Heretic in a blog post, I've kind of been following the drama surrounding his blog posts, and I'm extremely confused. He seems like he wants to kill himself just because he's received over 250 pieces of hate-mail. Yeah, I know that's a lot of hate-mail, but come on. Shouldn't he just be ignoring it at this point? What's the point of reading it if its only purpose is to make the reader feel negative? I don't understand.

He has to be using the hate-mail as a scapegoat for some terrible shit that's going on in his real life or something because his response is awfully drama-filled and whiny.

Though who am I to talk? I've hardly received any fan-mail or hate-mail at all. Most of it's just been neutral.
