I'm not happy · 12:41am
I never like any of my stories. They go well in my head and have clever and interesting plots. But then I put pen to paper (well, finger to key) and they just turn in dark and monotonous mush. Even the dialog and descriptions sound fine in my head, but come out weird in practice. I have the idea for a story called "Pups" based on the idea of a crumbling Changeling tribe's only legacy (3 Changeling new borns. Chit, Ab and Rax) being thrust into Twilight's hooves due to a freak encounter in the Everfree forest. She comes to care for them and protect them and blah de blah de blah. I had tons of plot planned, but I'm scared to write it just because I know it will turn out crap. It's not even a desire to write. I just want to contribute something to the brony community. But I can't animate, write music or draw. The only thing I can do well is notice little things, like in the scene where Celestia and Luna beat King Sombra, the colours of their spells matches Cadences colour scheme, meaning that that spell could have created the Alicorn Cadance. But how's that contributing? I know it isn't necessary to contribute, but it just seems like I should. I'm just not sure what to do.
