I had just gotten back my computer today and finally got everything plugged in and gotten the chance to get back online... Apparently the problem with the computer, that made it stay in the shop for over a month, was an error due to the manufacturing of the hard-drive itself... I was told by the technician that it's a common problem with these computers due to how they were made back in the day the terabyte hard-drive were new and they end up burning out after two years or so...

Anyway, apparently he was able to transfer some of the information from the old hard-drive to the new one I have now... fortunately I was able to keep my storyworks, including over 20 story ideas that I'm almost desperate to write, if I didn't make that promise to myself that's only causing me pain and letting these ideas go to waste... but I digress...

Unfortunately, one of the only two folders that never transferred (which together held between 55-60% of the memory I had on the drive) was my MLP folder (Luckily I keep my fanfic stuff in my writing folder) and I am now trying desperately searching for the one wallpaper that I had once used on the old hard-drive: It is a subtle MLP picture which depicted the night sky and the twinkling stars, where the hidden face of Princess Luna is softly transparent in the background, unnoticed unless you were staring at it...

I had always liked the abstract wallpapers that shown as little as possible so only the people who knew what it was could understand it... like an inside joke... I have a few other candidates for a new wallpaper (like This or this) , but I would really like to at least see that once again

This was mainly just an update on what's going on, and to see if anyone could help me find the old picture I just can't seem to find... Thank you all for reading this far, I hope you have a pleasant day ahead :)

Now, before I get people saying that all promises should be kept, just lay back and listen for a moment

Now, first of all, you all know that I am a writer of a fair number of stories here on this site, most about my favorite pony (Spike) and his romantic affairs... and some of you will know, or have at least noticed, that I have stopped writing for a while now.

I had made a promise to stop writing in order to help encourage me into getting a job, to be able to write again when I have gotten one in this down economy. However, it has been (from what I can recall) about four months and I have been legitimately searching, job-shadowing, and interning, all with promise of a job in the relatively near future (relative to a span of years) and I have kept to my promise and refrain writing more than the basic ideas for new writings (of which I have at least 20 atm)

However, a new predicament has come to pass, the untimely death of my computer's hard-drive... For those of you who have not read my blog about my computer's death, essentially my computer has come to the point where it is refusing to start-up and I have taken it to a repair shop. It was found that the hard-drive has overheated and resulted in what he assumes is approximately 55-60% of my data to be completely destroyed... of which has been transferred to a new hard-drive and installed in the old computer (nothing else he saw was wrong with it) which is currently getting the software installed for the operation of the new hard-drive, and is expected to be ready for me to pick up tomorrow

and so I am stuck between the thoughts of using this moment of celebration to do what I love to do (when I am good at it) and disappointing myself for not achieving my goal of getting a job and aid in supplying income for my household, rather than intern for a pediatric hospital, which is my current status

and thank you for reading this, as well as any of my work, I hope you have a wonderful day ahead

Yep, I am no longer the proud owner of a computer for myself, and I am only able to tell any of you because my father has a another computer that I am able to use... but back to the point:

It was a Windows 7 that was bought by me on my birthday a few years back (at least two if not three) and for as long as my short memory can remember, it has always had an astoundingly loud fan running constantly, not just while I was using it, but for as long as it was running... but what is important is that yesterday, I had noticed that everything was running a hell of a lot slowert than usual... but I put it asside as internet connection problems... then this morning, before I went to my job-trainning (I'm almost at the point where I have the job) I came back, only to find that it would not load even the simplest web-page, it froze while opening .txt documents, even froze while typing INTO .txt documents... and then, while in a fit of anger by the icy-cold condition of its frozen screen, I manually held the button, turning it off

and when I turned it back on, it took twenty minutes to get onto the log-on screen, ten minutes longer than normal, but after I had entered my password and attempted to logg me in, the screen flashed and said that it was logging off before it turned off... since then, I have only seen a black black screen with six white dashes in a line on the top of the screen (like normal) but then it continues the dashes for the rest of the top, only without a full white, but a strange array of bits of code, ranging in color...

So it is with a saddened heart that I say that I can not continue writing, even when my promiss is fulfilled and I have a job, until I have a computer to work with, and even then, it will be without all of the progress I have saved on that hard-drive

I had just recently found out that my Medical Certification, which drained two grand that I don't nor didn't have, as well as over a year of training, only to be told that it doesn't mean jack sh*t

It wasn't that the school wasn't credited (Because it's fully credited), it wasn't that the certification isn't in the feild that I was going into (Because it is one of the major 60 (that I know of) fɒr this one job (180,000 total people with this job in the USA in 2010))... but because I didn't give my money directly to the organization I thought I was joining to improve my chances of getting a job... I can't get a job until I pay them more out of my mile-deep hole.

I had made a promise that after I publish "The Changeling's Dragon", that I would not write any more until I had a proper job and some money coming in... but it seems like that isn't going to happen ANY TIME SOON...

Now, I'm not trying to bring anyone down here, but I have been in a deep depression since I could remember, and other then the people who I know enjoy the things that I have done, I see no point continuing to live in this world...

But again, I'm probably not going to kill myself... but I... I... I just don't know anymore
