Hey there! To you few readers that are keeping up with Gaius, I have a request:

Tell me what I could work on.  

This is for both new and old readers, but I'm really hoping to get some responses from older readers. As many of you know, the new stuff is a revamp of the old story, which I felt was old and dry and going no where. So I want to know what you guys didn't like about it. Be it story issues or general feel or pacing or something else or repeating or over and over. Did you not like Gaius or the villians? Tell me!

I already have a new plot line laid out, but it's definitely malleable at this point and I want to make it the best reading experience for you guys as possible. So please give me some feed back.

So, I've been thinking a bit bout Gaius n' such and my thoughts have solidified a coherent story-line that I'm pleased with. Sounds great, but when I look back at my previous chapters I...

So I've been strongly considering going back and rewritting the whole bloody thing so that it can follow a more solid story-arch and smoother, more defined characters.

What I want to know is, what's you guys' opinion on the matter?

Hey guys, I'm still kicking. I haven't done too much recently (as you've probably realized) but now that the dreaded REAL LIFE has subsided, I can get back to writing.

And soeth I returneth and stuffeth.

I find myself a bit perplexed to my main story TToGNF, as I know it could use a -lot- of refinement. And then I have to ask myself the question, does anyone even care anymore? Not just Gaius, but my other stories as well. So, please, tell me if anyone's still interested in my little half-baked fictions.

Heeeeeeey everybody...

Well, the good new is that I'm still alive. The bad news is that I've been reeeeeeealllly lazy, basically I haven't written jack-squat on Gaius for a full weak.

I have, however made yet another story that I probably won't have time to do stuff with! So, that's great!

Anywho, here's my plan of action:

1. Finish first part of Gaius

2.Go back and revamp I Shall Sleep

3.Tie up loose ends (Kill Randomencounter, Meester, Book Smart, etc.)

4.??????

5.Miserable Failure! Profit!

Alright, so, the next chapter is about half-way done at about 4k words or so, with another 4-5k to go.

HOWEVER, it's been quite a while since I updated it and it may verywell dig into November before the complete chapter is even done, let alone edited. So, I present to you, the readers, two choices.

I could either make it a two-parter, like the last chapter was.

OR

You could all wait for me to complete the chapter in its entirety at some point in early November.

The choice is yours.

Hey there! Sorry to bother you all like this, but I was recently asked a few questions by a reader of The Tale of Gaius "Ninefingers", and I felt like I should probably present the answers to all of you that wanted to listen.

First Question:

"Will the story be going by the 'cannon' map?"

AKA this one:

(I freaking hate this map...)

Answer:

By the gods, no! The story is taking place in my own little version of Equestria with references to the "Equestria and Beyond" (Link) But for the most part I am completely editing and changing the landscape of Equestria on a whim depending on what's best for the story and making it as tolerable to the reader as possible.

Second Question:

"I was wondering if there was going to be any mention of the crystal ponies since you jumped onto the changeling thing pretty fast."

Answer:

As things stand, I'm thinking no. The changelings were something that I could mesh in with the overall story-arch without too much damage. The crystal ponies, however, would present several conflicting issues with future plot developments and would generally make my day a lot harder.

Hello there, I know that most of you probably thing I've abandoned writing or some shenanigans like that but I assure you that I have not.

What happened was that I started to dislike writing because I had been going literally non-stop for about three months and just tired of it. So, in my infinite wisdom, I took a break for a week to give me a fresh perspective again. And then... I got all procrastinationy and got worried that I wouldn't be able to pick up where I left off...

But then I started typing and it felt like I was just watching the characters interact instead of actually working on it. (Just like it had been in the OLDEN DAYS)  

It pretty much looked like this:

But then, just as I started to get back into the grove, my most dreaded enemy appeared to steal away my time...

SCHOOOOOOOOOL!

But worry not, for the next chapter of Gaius "Ninefingers" is in production and everyone can stop loathing me! :D
