Name: Ezekiel AKA Seth Miller.

Species/Race: Human.

Special Abilities/Powers: The Cockatrice Stare.

Description: Seth is a male human with an...unfortunate past. He has black hair (dark brown when washed) and is almost six feet tall. At times his personality can be unpredictable when not medicated and he also suffers from "Enhanced" Multi-Personality Disorder. It has been "enhanced" due to Equestria's inert magic. Signs of his "Enhanced" M.P.D. acting up include: Senseless violence, Aggressive acts toward loved ones, Having conversations with "Dark Ezekiel", Increased isolation, And general rudeness. Despite his mental issues he's found love and is (in story 1) dating the pony Fluttershy. He has, needless to say, been through a lot. From attempting suicide to dying to resurrection to being imprisoned in stone. He has however (depending on the ending you chose) been cured of his issues and has found peace with his life. One might say that he has fully integrated himself into Pony Society.

Meaning Behind Character: Seth is who I want to be in a sense. His relationship with his parents represent my relationship with my parents at the time, but purposefully blown up out of proportion. His mental issues represent some of my own but multiplied. Ezekiel and I share some traits but a ultimately different.

Name: Shadow.

Species/Race: Shadow Beast.

Special Abilities/Powers: Access to both black and (with help from Twilight) white magic, and limited time travel.

Description: Shadow was once a slave to the Grim Reaper. After "Grim Jr." released him to Ezekiel as a gift, he denounced doing anything evil unless it was truly justifiable. His appearance is like Seth's at first but over time begins to lose some similarities. Despite his evil, shadowy appearance, he is very kind and humble. And is still loyal to Seth's wishes even after his death. He and the Mane Six shared a very odd and, seeing how most of them are scared of him, slightly strained friendship. All he truly wants is to be accepted and live his life in relative peace. He is not, however, opposed to using extreme measures to protect the one's he cares about. Be it the Mane Six or his "Master" Seth.

Meaning Behind Character: Shadow represents Seth's wanting to be accepted by anyone/anypony, which is why he appears less in the later chapters. And when he was accepted by his friends, he found peace. He also represents the whole "don't judge a book by it's cover" thing.

Name: Dark Ezekiel AKA The Real Ezekiel.

Species/Race: Human/Parasitic Demon.

Special Abilities/Powers: Transformation magic at the cost of the host's energy and sanity. Anything that will kill or maim his victim.

Description: Ezekiel started as a simple name for Seth to use for air-soft, paintball, and games. But as Seth got older and started to get picked on in school and at home, he made "Dark" Ezekiel in his mind as some sort of storage for his rage and hatred. Seth was unknowingly possessed at some point and the demon took "Ezekiel" as his name, and was fed by Seth's negative emotions. Ezekiel is a sadist and very much enjoys the sight and taste of blood. He want's nothing more to take complete control over Seth and use his body for his own evil purposes. (Depending on the ending you chose, he is successful.)

Meaning Behind Character: Dark Ezekiel represents my own hatred for things. I "store" all my negative emotions in "Zeke's domain". Zeke being my dark side while Seth's is Ezekiel. I imagined what Zeke would do if he were "real" and that turn into Ezekiel. During most of "Ten Months Later" I let Zeke do the writing, which is why it's more dark the other two in the series.

Name: Match.

Species/Race: Changeling

Special Abilities/Powers: N/A

Description: Match is a different kind of Changeling. Unlike her brethren, she was slightly sympathetic toward the ponies. She is loyal to her race, but after reflecting on her life regrets being apart of the Canterlot Invasion, and is sad she got separated from one of her only friends. And somewhere, in the back of her mind, she thinks that Ganger is dead.

Meaning Behind Character: After seeing how most people were writing Changelings as a war-like species, I decided to write a kinder/likable Changeling. She pretty much represents a "victim" of a military draft and doesn't want to be in training. She however finds it easier to deal with because her friend is there with her.

Name: Eli Miller

Species/Race: Human

Special Abilities/Powers: N/A

Description: Eli is Seth's dead brother. He teased Seth but loves him and his sister more then his parents. Eli joined the army and got deployed to Iraq, where he was hit with an I.E.D. and died after bleeding to death. The funeral was closed casket so since Seth didn't know what Eli looked like, made his own mental image, which may or may not be correct. Eli's death is one of the reasons Seth slowly started to lose his sanity.

Meaning Behind Character: Eli represent my own brother, and the constant fear I had of losing him while he was deployed. I figured if I did lose him it would have been by I.E.D. since he went on convoys a lot. Thankfully that never happened, and he never got close to that sort of thing.

Name: Zane AKA Me the Writer.

Species/Race: Human.

Special Abilities/Powers: N/A

Meaning Behind Character: Maybe

Name: Viktor Kozlov.

Species/Race: Human.

Special Abilities/Powers: High pain tolerance due to Spetsnaz training

Description: Viktor is an...odd person. I mean have you ever heard of a Spetsnaz that's afraid of height? His love for his wife and daughter is enough to give him the strength to go home to them. Unfortunately no one can predict an I.E.D. After he was teleported to Equestria, he found a zebra and adopted it as his own daughter. He protected her while watching over Fluttershy. He is kind and has an affinity for using the English language despite being from Russia. He pretty much always talks in Russian to swear with out others knowing it.

Meaning Behind Character: Viktor represents...um...my borderline obsession with Russian things? I don't know.
