Hey everybody,

Finally back from the aether.  I apologize for such a long hiatus, but I've been really busy for the past few months with things that I needed to figure out and do.

Be that as it may, I have been working on Fermata a little bit, so I might be done with the next bit in time to submit it as a Christmas present to you all.  Thank you all for your patience, and I look forward to your feedback on the story.

I decided to change the status of "Fermata" to 'On Hiatus.'  While I plan on finishing the story, there are some other things that I need to take care of before I do so.  I figured that I might as well let all of you know that it's going to take me a while to get the last couple chapters out.

It took longer than expected, but the second chapter of Fermata is DONE!   I hope you all enjoy it.

Also, I would like to thank Alexstrazsa for his support.  This story would not be possible without his help or the basis he created with his own story.  

Anyway, that's all for now.  With any luck I'll get the next bit out fairly soon.  

Edit: The next chapter isn't going to be coming out for a while now.  I'm going to be VERY busy in the next few weeks, so writing is not a possibility for me.  However, I still will be doing edits and listening to feedback.  Feel free to ask me questions, too.

Hey, all.  Sorry to say this, but I might be a little late on getting the next chapter of Fermata out.  I'm planning on working so that I can get it finished over this weekend and have it up by Monday.  I was thinking that I would have it up sooner, but after re-reading some of what I wrote I decided to scrap parts of it.  This chapter of the story is giving me a little more trouble than I thought it would, but I should be getting the rest of the chapters out pretty quickly after this one.  That's what I'm hoping at least.

Anyway, thank you all for your patience and for reading my work.  Also, a special thank you to everyone who pointed out errors in the story and gave me corrections.  I appreciate you taking the time to help me improve.

Alright!  So, the next chapter of Fermata is going to be coming out relatively soon. It's just going to take a little longer than expected since I'm going to be swamped this weekend with other stuff.  I'm going to estimate that it will be out sometime between next weekend and the middle of the week after that (hopefully I can live up to this timetable).  Besides that, the story is coming along nicely.  Thanks for sticking around for the ride.
