I am excited to say that I do indeed have something new in the works. It will be a grand adventure featuring Shining Armor and his good friend, King Sombra. I'm drawing upon several sources of lore for this one, from Greek mythology to video games. Which video games? It'll be pretty clear, trust me. I originally thought of the idea as a crossover based on an off handed remark from a S2 episode. Genre wise, we've got adventure, darkish perhaps, not too dissimilar from my previous work. As I'm sure you can tell, I enjoy lost temples, monstrous beasts, dark spells, and other such fantasy tropes. So, although it rarely matches canon quite perfectly, I love to write it. I grew up reading, and am still reading, high and low fantasy novels. I'm sure there are many of you who had similar experiences, because they offered a vision of a much more interesting world than the one we've grown used to.

I could go on, but you get the point. When will it be ready to be published? I don't know. It hasn't even been edited or pre-read yet. If the story seems to be going in the right direction, then it will progress faster. Bigger changes will slow it down. The good news is that I have a fairly consistent amount of time available for writing each week. Progress will be made!
