I'm writing a HiE fic about one the ten Guardians of Reality. (I'm sure this kind of thing has been done a million times over but bear with me as I explain.) The ten Guardians hail from a different Material Plane than Equestria. Each Guardian Protects an Element of Reality. Light and Darkness. Creation and Destruction. Fire and Water. Earth and Air. Essence and Illusion. For a good long time these Guardians worked together to make sure that reality itself was held together. But Light and Creation grew to hate Darkness and Creation because they took and hid everything they tried to create or illuminate (natural cycle of the universe and all that nothing personal). But they convinced the other elements to Banish Darkness, Destruction, and Illusion for good measure from their reality. Stripped of much of their power each falls through various Material Planes. At the Very least Darkness lands in Equestria the other two might as well but I haven't decided yet. The question I want to know is how will the Mane 6 deal with someone who's power holds sway over darkness, both in light and peoples hearts. The Guardian of Darkness is not Malicious he just understands that no one can grow if they are only surrounded by light and happiness and after all Conflict is the heart of all things including story. The main threat in equestria when he arrives will probably be the Shadow Elementals that were accidentally unleashed upon his arrival. He doesn't want any one to get hurt, well as long as it helps them grow it's a good thing but any way. I've typed up about 3000 words of failed chapter ones so far I'm going to keep at until I get it the way I like and get it posted on here as soon as possible.
