Over the last few weeks I've been running a DnD campaign with my friends in the setting of a kingdom called Arsiacrom.

Today the campaign got a little ridiculous, so I decided to start posting it online to see what you all thought.

A note before we go, this starts a bit into the campaign, the players just caught one of their own trying to sell drugs and were told to bring her to a shaman in the forest named Zacrinai.

During this session half of our party was away, leaving me with one ranger (Kaylen) a wandering human, one druid (Talos) A until now hermit dragon, and a rogue (Kyle) human from the capitol of crime in the country.

A while into the session Talos will start acting a little weird, that's because as a dragon he had to choose two of the seven deadly sins to follow, his are Lust and Gluttony.

The NPCs with them are Lillith, a Succubus 'prisoner' they got from a recent boss fight, and Anne Jane Applewood (Or AJ.)

The characters, despite how they may seem, are NOT based off of the MLP series, they're old characters of mine who, until I became a brony, were completely original.

And now to the session;

A few minutes before arrriving at the clearing, Atalanta flies away, claiming to have other important business to do.

So the six remaining heroes find themselves outside of a small hut built into the side of a overgrown sycamore tree.

Outside, masks appearing to be from the jungle of Jarlidon hang from windows and branches.

A.J. Approaches the door and knocks on it's oaken planks, after a few seconds it swings open to show the face of a zebra.

This must be the Zacrinai the group heard about, she's a six foot tall zebra eqin whos hair hangs around her shoulders.

With a raised eyebrow and one hand still on the door handle, she gestures for the group to come inside.

Sitting next to the table in the center of the round room is the unmistakable form of Talos.

The walls are lined with books and shelves holding all kinds of bottles and components for spells.

"A.J. and friends, I've been expeccting you," She says coolly.

Kaylen steps foreward.

"Hello, my name is Kaylen, we have a drug dealer with us, and we need help dealing with them."

Zacrinai raises an eyebrow

"You need help deeling drugs?"

"Nonono! We got a letter from Solara telling us to bring her to you."

Zacrinai appears to be deep in thought, after a while she looks up and says;

"I see your friend was sent to me with a letter from Solara reguarding the matter.

I will take the drug dealer off of your hands for a while, but you should get back to looking for Shadowflight."

Kaylen nods, "That was going to be our priorty right after we deal with her, so what are you going to do?"

"What I will do is strictly between me and the gyriph."

Kayle turns back to the rest of the group.

"Alright then, we should go back to trying to find what happened to Shadowflight."

Kaylen looks over his shoulder at Zacrinai, trying and failing to place the enigmatic zebra.

Aj nods to Zacrinai and Kaylen and says;

"Alright, looks like our business here is done."

"We should probably head to town before we go looking for Shadowflight, to get food and gear."

AJ nods again.

"We can go back to my place for the food, Emerald or Spade could fix you up with some gear."

"Great, so everyone for going back to town?"

"Sure!" Talos pipes in.

Kyle smiles, "Yeah, if they're not all terrified at m- Imean, yeah I'm just an innocent little kid!"

Kaylen blinks at Kyle, then the group, minus Gabriel, the Beguiler and the Drug dealer, begins it's trek back to town.

Upon returning to the entrance of the town Kyle begins singing;

"Food is so tasty,

Food is so good,

And food makes my stomach so full!"

AJ looks at Kyle and places a hand on his head,

"Well it's good to see someone so enthusiastc about food, come on little fella, lets go get some grub."

"YES!" Talos says, halfway to shoving his rations down Kyles throat.

Kaylen turns to Lillith;

"Gonna stay out of trouble?"

Lillith smiles back at Kaylen.

"Oh you know me, me and trouble don't get along... although there was that one time..."

"Don't remind me," Kayen groans.

As Kyle is led off by AJ, Talos raises an eyebrow at the withdrawing farmer, then begins to run at her.

AJ looks at the noise, but it was a second to late as Talos tackles her to the ground.

Kyle turns away from the scene as Talos looks down hungrily at AJ.

AJ flips Talos off from on top of her and jumps to her feet.

"Please, I deal with Shadowflight on a daily basis, some dragon like you aint gonna do much."

Talos smiles sheepishly and the smell of urine fills the air.

Lillith smirks in the distance.

"Please, I didn't get to do anything that time!"

Kaylen walks up to Talos's prone form.

"Don't do anything stupid, I'm watching you now."

"I-I'll try my best," Talos stutters.

Kaylen nods and leaves to look for a weapons or armor shop.

Talos struggles to his feet and turns back to AJ.

"I'm terribly sorry, I had no idea what I was doing."

AJ raises an eyebrow.

"Don't worry 'bout it none, you aint the first dragon I've met, lets just get back to the farm and get some grub."

Kyle jumps to attention;

"Grub! Yay!

Food is tasty,

food is good

food makes my stomach full"

Talos sighs and resigns to pulling out his lute, Kyle responds by drawing his mandolin to play.

Elswhere Kaylen enters the library.

In the curcular foyer of the library, he sees a dark haired male elf leaning into a bookshelf.

The front desk of the librarian sits empty a few feet from the entrance.

Kaylen approaches the elf, who turns and looks at him at the sound of feet.

"What do you want?" He asks.

"Are you the librarian?"

"Yeah, do you need a book?"

"No, I was wondering if you knew of any armor or weapon shops in this town."

The librarian looks at Kaylen with a deadpan expression.

"The kingdom of Arsiacrom hasn't mass produced weapons since the last chaos age.

If you need armor, you can go see Emerald, the tailor."

Kaylen thanks the elf and leaves to search of Emerald.

Back at the apple orchard, the other group of four approach the farmhouse.

Aj and Lillith are talking excitedly ahead of the two adventurers.

Talos tries to listen in, but Aj and Lillith see him approach and quiet down.

Kyle sees the scene, but chooses to just sing louder.

Kaylen finds himself in the square, next to a familiar carrot stand.

Lilly Daucus sees hims standing there and turns to her old friend.

"Hey there, what can do for ya this time?"

"I'm looking for Emeralds place, do you know where it is?" Kaylen explains.

"Well, unless your an alati I don't see you getting there that easy, but ya could always try Spades casino."

"I'm not much of a- Wait, what exactly does Emerald do?"

Lily chuckles and pats Kaylen on the back.

"Oh she's just a normal seamstress, well as normal as you can be while being a guardian o the acadamy.

She just spends alot o' time with Spade."

Kaylen asks;

"Thank you, but I'm going out on another adventure soon, so I may need some carrots to help me. I'll take a bunch."

"Alright, that'll be five silver."

Kaylen and Daucus make the trade Kaylen asks for the general directio of the casino.

"Oh, it'll be over that way, on the edge o' town."

Kaylen thanks her and leaves.

Talos, Kyle, Lillith and AJ reach the farmhouse, AJ hold open the door.

"Well come on then, let's see if there's any leftover food for us."

Lillith walks ahead with Talos and kyle shortly behind, AJ takes up the rear.

Lillith sits back next to a wooden door and watches as the trio search the kitchen for spare food.

Kyle stops his searching and opens the door to show rows of preserved apple sauce and jelly.

"I found it!" the boy shouts, Lillith pats him on the head.

"Good job kid."

AJ facepalms and rushes into the pantry.

"Why didn't I check here first," she groans.

Kaylen arrives at a large three story square building, a green spade symbol is hanging right above the revolving doors.

Going in, Kaylen checks to make sure his gold is safe. Upon entering, he sees a brown haired alati fly out.

A human with green highlights in her raven hair is standing behind the front counter.

Kaylen turns to the woman behind the counter.

"I'm looking for Spade, do you know where I might find him?"

"That would be me."

Kaylen blinks twice.

"I'm looking for Emerald as well."

"You just missed her. If you want to leave a message, I could do that for you."

"What kind of Tailor is she, exactly?"

"Well, she does Hattery, Gloves, Boots... she's also done some light armor for our group in past adventures."

"I'd like to leave a message for a backpack to be made."

"Well that would cost you one gold, for the message."

Kaylen rolls an eye and flips her a coin, turning to see a singed red hared elf standing in the doorway. He tries to pass the elf with a smile and wave.

"hElLO, POpPEt..."

Kaylen wishes him a good day and walks off, with the sound of buzzing in his ears, which seems to be coming from a source of electric origin.

AJ begins writing something down on a slip of paper.

Lilith looks over AJ's shoulder.

Kyle asks, "Can I eat a lot right now?"

AJ says to save it for the trail.

Kyle looks sad.

AJ sighed and said "Fine you can have one or two"

Kyle grabs and hugs the apple sauce to himself, sits on the floor, and begins eating.

Meanwhile, Talos is in the corner resisting the urge to do something he might regret later.

He succeeds.

AJ sets down the slip of paper and turns to the gorup.

"Ayight I just left a note to Jake, Let's get what we need packed and get goin'"

The group follows her instruction and begins leaving.

The entire party meets up again outside to the Hanging Bat.

Kaylen greets his allies.

"We should probably go to a city to find out where this group went with Shadow."

"Or we could just go in here and ask around," Talos advises.

"OR we could ask the succubus right here." AJ points out.

Kyle turns to Lillith

"Lillith, do you know where they were going?" Kaylen asks

Lillith smiles and shrugs.

"All I know was something about a fortress in the ground with some treasure inside."

"Sound interesting, lets check it out!" Kyle shouts.

"That sounds like what Shadowflight told us, so lets kill two birds with one stone," Kaylen reminds everyone.

The group opens the door to the cave and sees a large crowd talking and eating with eachother.

Talos appears to be on the verge of diving for the food.

As they pass through the crowd and approac the VIP room and entrance to the dungeon, they see Applewood wave at them from the bar.

Kaylen gets an idea and shouts;

"Does anyone here want to go on an adventure?!"

There is a loud yell from eight of the occupants of the room, after it  quites down, a dusty brown haired woman shouts.

"What the H*** was that about?"

Talos jumps onto a nearby table.

"I dont think they heard you!"

Kyle follows suit and both whip out their instruments.

There is a large scream from the crowd as everyone cheers along after awhile of singing, A blue hared human and Applewood jump up onto the stage and join along.

After the first song a scream comes from the crowd.

"Go Storybook Symphony!"

The crowd parts and a brown haired elf charges up and leaps onto the impromptu stage.

"Well, looks like I'll be joining you, let's get the party started, eh?"

So in the end our party got a grand total of 22 NPC followers (if they can pull it off in the next session, where we'll RP the party/rave thing they've started.)
