Geez, how much exactly do you want to know? I tend to write dark stuff, and there are certain other things I'd tell you though I'd rather not risk how one might react to them.

So, what did Tzelael get you for Christmas? I'll tell you what I got you! POWER. UNSPEAKABLE POWER. UNLIMITEED POWWAAAAAAH!

... Well, seriously. I am giving you power. YOU, THE PEOPLE WHO ARE ACTUALLY PAYING ATTENTION TO THIS BLOG ACTUALLY GET TO DECIDE WHICH PROJECT I WILL WORK ON NEXT. Now, what is thy bidding?

1. Continue "The Starlit," the story of Twilight Sparkle fighting the supernatural and the treasonous, early? (Yes, I am considering it)

2. Start on a story about Rainbow Dash meeting a pegasus from the distant past whose warrior-culture view clashes with (mostly) peaceful modern-day Equestria?

3. Start on an Applejack story where she discovers more about the Everfree Forest while driven by strange, vivid hallucinations?

4. Make a collection of short stories like "For My Last Trick"?

5. Something else entirely?

YOU CHOOSE. I'M SURE THE 2 OR 3 OF YOU LOOKING AT THIS CAN MAKE A DECISION.

Many thanks!

-Tzelael

For My Last Trick

Picture of a street corner in the heart of Manehattan on a sweltering summer afternoon. On the road is a carriage, emblazoned with the image of a blue unicorn magician, flashing a condescending smirk to all passers-by. This image is of Trixie Lulamoon, also known as “The Great and Powerful Trixie,” one of a certain breed of unicorn magician who excels in flashy, grandiose effects and equally flashy, grandiose exaggerations of her own capabilities. Today, her show will end as it usually does, with only a few being impressed by her ostentatious display and her over-sized ego, the rest dismissing her as a show-off, but what awaits her afterward will be the challenge of a lifetime...

Hello sir or madame,

I am Obsidian Raindrop the creator of a group known as The Great and Not Obsessive Trixie   I am here to ask if you would like your story to be added to my group.

The only requirements are:

1. You have a story about Trixie and she is not completely obsessing over her lose at the hands of Twilight. (She can hate that she lost to twilight and even try and beat again but she just can't be be so obsessive like she is in most stories. )

2.  She may be a supporting character or a main character it does not matter.

3. i can`t think of a third thing

Sorry to all those who either received this email twice or who don`t have trixie as a main or supporting character. Also just PM me if you want your story added.

Hello,

It's me Obsidian again asking you guys to do stuff you don't want to.

1. tell me the name of your story and the one folder you want it in

2.join the group it is really cool and we'll soon get a banner up

3. fallow because it will boost my confidence

Yours truly, Obsidian Raindrop

>>235767 Is that so? Well, I already have an editor working pretty closely with me on Stolen Fire, but when I start up another project and I'll need to give him some off time, I'll definitely give your friend a look.

Oh, you're looking for an editor? My follower and colleague, SkyshotSwift would be able to help you. He considers himself a ninja editor, hiding in the shadows, downloading your work and sending back to you before you even know. I've seen him work, he is fast. I can't recommend him enough.

>>153251 Speaking as a writer myself, I know the feeling. It's always great to hear what people think of your work.

So far, the story's compelling and it definitely looks like you've done your research, and you really know how to handle your prose. You seem pretty capable of handling elaborate description without it becoming obnoxious and unwieldy. Keep up the good work.

Thank you for the favorite on The Kingdom of Heaven and Earth. As a writer, the fact that someone has enjoyed your story is the major fuel that keeps one writing.

There is no such thing as a bad pun. Only a missed opportunity.  :coolphoto:

And I fully intend to dip into your stories: The synopses are intriguing, and they are currently sitting in my Read Later pile, which I've been working through little by little. Unfortunately, the story I'm working on right now is Background Pony, so... not a whole lot of progress to be made any time soon.

But when I do get to read through your stories, I shall try and keep from being TOO vicious. I'd hate to scare you off of writing entirely.

>>139891 The pleasure was all mine. I do enjoy finding little-known gems such as yours. :raritywink: Yeah, the emoticon was used to make a pun. I can't believe I did that either.

And is this a watch I see? Well, I now encourage you to tear my stories a new one because, aside from grammar, usage and stylistic issues, I don't think anyone's ever criticized my stories (at least never to my face). If you have the time to take a gander at them and, God help you, you actually find them interesting, I'd appreciate any input you can offer.

Thank you for the favorite on Secrets of the Everfree. I had a lot of fun writing it, and I'm glad that people are having as much fun reading it.
