Like we haven't had that from oh I don't know, Bratz Maybe? Or just look at the all the films Disney have done (Modern Disney, not the good old days). Let me guess, the human incarnation of Celestia and Luna are the headmistresses. Discord is Twilight's overbearing new teacher and why oh why does it look like they've set Soarin up as the love interest? Gah, so much hate right now! If Season 4 doesn't totally kick-ass then I am DONE with MLP.

Hello everybody!

First of let me just apologise to all of my followers and those of you who were waiting on the continuation of my SpikeXFlutters Fiction. I know a lot of you like it and I teased you with chapter release promises that I just haven't been able to keep.

LET ME EXPLAIN!

I don't know how many of you write, but those who do must understand the frustration that comes with being mentally blocked. And that's where I am. At least with the stories I've wrote at the moment. Combine that with the fact that my life has gotten quite busy (work, sorting out stuff for university, you know the usual.) and even when I don't have writer's block, I don't have time to write.

Here's a little taste of how I work when it comes to writing fiction:

Step 1: Get an idea, think it's pretty good, write idea down as soon as possible.

Step 2: When I finally get time, try to write a few thousand words, a couple of chapters e.t.c.

Step 3: By the time I get around to writing some more it has been so long that I forget where I was going, check previous notes and work.

Step 4: Think work isn't good enough, try to rewrite it by myself. Get nowhere, swear repeatedly.

Step 5: Start to feel depressed, contemplate deleting story and fimfiction account.

Step 6: Read nice comments you people put on my stories, feel somewhat more confident in my writing abilities.

Step 7: Rinse and repeat.

Not to mention when life gets me down and I find it impossible to write cheery stuff.

Another thing you should be wary of is my attention span sucks. The only reason Spike's Home Alone was finished so quickly is because I worked on it for a week straight, screwing up my sleep in the process. I find it impossible to commit to something for a long period of time. For instance I am not only writing fan fiction, but I'm also practising my drawing skills, getting started with animation and just today I've started trying to design a video game. Will any of my works ever be finished or seen by the public? Probably not. The point is, I write because I find it fun, or rather, did find it fun. Don't worry though as soon as writing starts to appeal to me again, you guys will be the first to know!

So with that being said.

This is the Secret Brony signing off! That's write I'm taking a break from writing fan fiction for a bit. I know, I know, "But Secret Brony, you haven't uploaded stuff in ages!". Well actually I have, but I haven't published it, if I don't like what I write though, I'm not about to let you guys see it now am I?

Let me tell you it's been a lot of fun. When will I be back? Just keep an eye on that notifications bar at the top of your browser. Because when my muse returns, hoo baby have I got a LOT of stories for you!

I'm not normally one to beg but I really need someone (or more than one, that'd be awesome) to act as a prereader for an adventure story I'm working on staring Spike (Yep another Spike story because dragons are awesome!).

Some quickie details:

It's a trilogy, so three seperate stories in total.

I'm trying to make each story 15+ chapters long.

The story will cover Spike's origin, plenty of character development, a wide cast of some cool Dragon OCs.

There will be romance, conflict, action, the whole 9 yards.

The story will focus primarily on Spike, mostly in the 3rd person, maybe some first person sections.

This is taking precedence over all works in progress, including the rewrite (sorry!).

If you want to suggest some dragon OCs go right ahead, I'll see if I can fit them in. Considering they're an ancient race that lives a lot longer than ponies, I figured using names taken from latin would be good.

I have written the prologue if you want to read it, message me and I'll send it to you either by email or through a message.

All I'm asking is half an hour to one hour tops to check for any mistakes in grammar or spelling, out of character moments or pointless plot. Chapters will be added irregularly because real life is a d**k like that but still. Can anyone lend a hand? (Hoof? Claw? I don't really care just help me please!)

I figured I should start writing something again, it's been a while since I posted anything new on here.

Of course I'll still be doing my rewrite and the sequel to Spike's Home Alone will come shortly after (hopefully).

Until then I have a couple of ideas that I want to work on, so what would you lot like to see me write?

1. Continue working on "Pride Comes Before a Fall", reading through it my OCs going to be a Mary-Sue unless I start introducing flaws and I've some interesting ideas as to where to take that story. I've already got a second chapter on the back-burners but I think it still needs work.

2: A second-person fiction, starring you and Applejack plays a major role too. Never written anything in the 2nd person before but I've read a couple on this site and fancy trying my hand at it.

3: A one-shot based around Twilight catching the flu, Spike being her number one assistant takes it upon himself to look after her. Inspired by an image I saw on deviantArt. To be honest, whilst I would like to work on this one, I'm want to be careful that I don't end up writing nothing but stories that heavily involve Spike, even if he is one of my favourite characters.

Yep, the battery to my Laptop is completely knackered, I'm typing this up on my phone. As you can imagine it's a massive pain in the flank. Anyway...

So a little update for you. The Spike's Home Alone Rewrite will be uploaded in one fell swoop. What does this mean? I'm not going to take any of it down until I've finished the re-write, which given I have to shell out for either a new computer or try to track down a replacement battery could take a while (I'm short on cash ATM). Some people thought this was a better alternative to what I was planning anyway. For now I'm stuck with pen and paper :(

I CAN still check this blog on my phone from time to time so feel free to post any suggestions.

I'll try to steal someone's computer so I can type up responses.
