Two Thousand years ago, the benevolent and much-loved Queen of Equestria, Written Glory, was overthrown in a surprise coup d'teat by one of her closest friends, the Draconequus Discord.  With his new regime in place, he quickly spreads chaos and fear across Equestria, his crimes against the pony folk so severe that even the dragons, the most isolated of the races, desperately try to locate a weak point so as to overthrow Discord and reinstate the deposed Queen, locked in the deepest part of the dungeon.

One hundred years passed, and many rebellions have risen and fallen as quick as they came.  It seemed that Discord was forever cemented in power for good.

The Dawn Brigade, the last remaining rebel force against Discord, in a last ditch effort to find help, throws and ancient, mysterious stone, containing mystical powers over time itself, into the Central Ley Line, whose magical powers are greater than any being on the face of the Known World.  The stone finds its way to young Adrian Gecko, a human Hunter taking up residence in the small, sleepy town of Benbrook.

Dragged into this conflict against his will, and considered the savior of Equestria by all who know the rumors, how can one man change the fate of an entire universe?
