The Strongest Whisper Their Words
ShoeShine endures one of the worst days of the year for her.
Celestia is taken on a heartbreaking journey, and what she once had will become completely lost to her...forever.
As it may have become obvious to some of my more dedicated followers, I frequently refer to my writing persona in various parts. This is less because I am a hyper paranoid nerd (although I am), and more to do with the help it gives me to focus on different feelings while writing. It's easy to change our method of speaking when we are talking to other people, but it can be challenging to do that while writing. Fortunately, I think I got the trick to do that.
I split my writing ego into several recognizable parts. Extreme, probably, but it does help to keep track of the emotion I'm trying to convey, be it excitement, anger, tears, or fear. I'm pretty sure tears is an emotion... probably.
Well, first off, I have my first writing part, K.T.Wizard, also known as just K.T.

K.T.Wizard was my screen name on a great many of sites before I started writing here, like on D.A. and FanFiction.net. It's also my old nickname from high school, half a decade ago. God I hate time. Any who, I was pretty freaking miserable back then, so it makes sense I would split myself into a writer that would dedicate himself to only the saddest crap out there, which I still make good on. After all, some of my best stories are apparently the saddest ones. Just check out Progress, or My Night Will Last Forever. All K.T.'s fault people.
After that, we have my next O.C., from Sonic. His/Her name's Negotium.

How do I say this... There was a time I was really into Sonic. Like majorly into Sonic. Too into Sonic. Yeah. Anywyas, I thought up of this O.C. Full name is Negotium the Lost. If you're bilingual, you'll get the irony of his/her name. And in case you're curious, I keep referring to old Nego as either a boy or girl because I never made up a gender. Really. My GF at the time wrote Nego as a girl, but others made it a guy. All I know is that he/she is the one responsible for keeping my stories on track, due dates and such. That is one sharp sword!
After that, we get into the recognizable figures. Like the manliest man. KAMINA!

If you don't know who Kamina is, you don't deserve to be on the internet. He's the manliest of men, demanding you know who the hell he really is. Kamina has the undeniable ability to lift anyone's spirit. He's the biggest reason I gave myself the courage to start writing the more ambitious stories, like One Last Game. He's also one of the few reasons why I keep writing it despite the rather poor reception or appreciation for it. But as long as he believes in me, and I believe in him, then I believe in myself!
On a more somber not, I also have an inner class of demon. Well... pirate.

Karl is a stone man from the Castle of Nations. He's also the most likeable liar and murderer I have ever seen. It is literally impossible to nail down one aspect about him that really drew me to him, but I can tell you latched onto him for his ability to throw others into the pyre if it means keeping himself happy. But honestly, I still keep him around because he knows how to lie. Well. To lie properly, you have to know a character, and no body can lie better than Karl. So in essence, no body can judge characters quite like Karl can. That's why he's such a big help for writing. When he's not threatening everything else.
But I do have a guardian angel, of sorts. An anime character I'm sure you've never heard of.

Teresa of the Faint Smile, from the under appreciated genius of Claymore, is one of the shortest lived and most badass women in any media. She is often hailed as the greatest warrior of all time, but was killed in a moment of weakness by the most powerful monster of all time. She still stands as the prime example of character development for me, changing from a cold stubborn warrior into a loving and caring mother figure. That's change people. So if I need characters to change, I ask Teresa what she would do, because mother does know best.
Other times though, I still need an excuse to prove I'm human. Like really bad days.

The Joker. You know him, so I'm not going to explain him. What I will explain, or at least emphasize on, his is unspoken obsession with different things. We all know how he wants to kill the Batman, but we don't know, or at least see as much, of his determination to isolate himself. It's why we don't see him on teams of villains (when written properly). It's because he hates everyone, all of them, and he honestly wants to kill them all. It really helps to have this kind of guy around when I'm writing those horrible scenes. His psychotic voice really helps to guide you through those painful passages, like killing Twilight with Cancer.
Next, and last, we have the last remnants of my innocence.

Aisling, from the Secret of the Kells, is a very interesting character. Not my all time favorite or loved, but defiantly a clear symbol of purity. I mean, she's dressed in white, is basically albino, is a small girl living in the forest, and is able to stop a pack of wolves with a call of her own. I often ask her for a bit of help from time to time in reminding me how someone who isn't mentally imbalanced would act, as she has a very good ability to predict people.
Personal Best
For all the pains one can endure, sometime pains can find themselves truly capable of breaking us. For Nightmare Moon, a tyrant who has felt every kind of pain, there exists only one more way to harm her, mind, body, and soul.
The heroes and warriors now divided and scattered, they must endure the sinister traps and enemies of the mad draconequus as they search for a way out of his twisted domain. But to do so, they will have to work, trust, and depend on one another.
It's easy to lose sight of how far you've come when all you can see are the mistakes of the past. What happens when Twilight finds herself trapped, knowing that for every thing she's done right, she's done something else wrong?
Looking back, it should have been obvious. All those brief moments they spent together, the close encounters, it was like they were dancing around the subject. And it all began with something so very small.
Twidash Challenge Part 1
It's easy to lose sight of how far you've come when all you can see are the mistakes of the past. What happens when Twilight finds herself trapped, knowing that for every thing she's done right, she's done something else wrong?
After a stormy night, Rainbow and Twilight awaken to find Pipsqueak missing from his home. With the attention and aid of Princess Luna, the three set out to find the young colt. But what forces, or what terrors, are truly at play around them?
Twilight remembers all the best times in her life, and when she thinks its the end, Dash disagrees.
As Dash takes a trip, she remembers the reason why it has become so routine for her.
Twidash Challenge Part 2
You never did like to do new things. Changing what you did meant changing who you were. But things have to change, with or without you. The least you can do is make sure they change for the better.
Twilight finally perfects the Wing Casting spell, perfecting it down to the most trivial detail. Her friends are more than thrilled to hear and experience the fruits of her labor. All of her friends, except for Rainbow Dash.
Looking back, it should have been obvious. All those brief moments they spent together, the close encounters, it was like they were dancing around the subject. And it all began with something so very small.
The Most Current of Fictions
Set after "One Last Game Book 1: The Gathering"
With the heroes and warriors now divided and scattered, they must endure the sinister traps and enemies of the mad draconequus as they search for a way out of his twisted domain. But to do so, they'll have to work with each other, trust one another, and in the end, depend on one another.
Should they fail, chaos will surely rain.
Massive Crossover
After months of practice, trial, error, and research, Twilight finally perfects the Wing Casting Spell. Her friends are more than excited to see the fruits of her labor. All her friends except for Rainbow. Why is the cyan mare so hesitant to congratulate Twilight?
Prior to Season 3.

There is nothing more controlled or more harmonious than a cycle. Predictable, constant, and endless. For the one who embodies chaos, Discord hates cycles more than anything in all of existence. Being trapped in a cycle is the worst kind of torture for him.
Knowing that he created one is beyond even his comprehension.
Discord has had enough. Now, he will change the rules of engagement. He will alter reality in ways unheard of. He will end all the harmony of not only Equestria, but of the galaxy and beyond. He will end it all.
And he'll do so with One Last Game.
Prior to Season 3.
Cover art by me.
Credits for the new Avatar go to Adaptive, an under appreciated artist who is growing his skills the same way I am growing mine. Cold. Hard. Dedication.

Long Info:
About Me: I tend to be a pretty dark guy in the stuff I write, be it romance, sad, or even basic slice of life. I haven't had any kind of astoundingly dark life myself, I just find it more... appropriate for the mass public. Love isn't true on first sight. The brightest moments in our lives can snuffed out. Never ever think that you are invincible.
About The Fics: I try and base (nearly) all my stuff on things that happen in my life. Obviously, I've never been summoned by Discord to fight the terrors of all time and space, but I have lost people close to me, let go of things I loved, and realized that the smallest things in life are often the most important.
About Ponies: I love them. The Second Season, so far, is the best. Season One, a great intro. Season Three, just feels like it squandered a lot of potentially golden material. Rainbow Dash and Wonderbolts? Bad. Season Intro? Worse. Pinkie Pie and clones? Probably the best episode of the season so far.
Goals:
*Finish my Twidash challenge
*Write a story(s) that grabs over 1000 likes (cheers mates)
*Get a story on EQD (I really do not like Sky Pirates anymore, and they used to be so cool...)
I love you all.

The Research of Wing Spell Development and Mechanics: Conclusion

The Twidash Challenge is my goal to write a story featuring the couple of Twilight Sparkle and Rainbow Dash in a story of every genre a story can belong to. This includes basic romance, sadness, comedy, song fictions, mature content, humanization, tragedies, fluff, and even perspective changes.
Categories may come and go as I feel that have to. Not because of laziness, but because they may not be a genre, or they deserve to be considered one. Second person, for example, is not a common writing scheme, so can classify as a genre. First person, however, is a common writing technique that does not distinguish a story significantly from another. I am willing to take suggestions, criticism, or provide explanations to the genres I have chosen below.
All stories are tracked by the progress, complete with links to the stories themselves. If any of these are broken please let me know.
Categories: Following this are all the categories, and their definitions, to the Twidash Challenge. They are listed in order beneath the stories.
Mature: A story that occurs with explicit material. Usually sex.
Fluff: A story that focuses on the happy puffy feeling of being in love.
Tragedy: A sad event that horrifically alters a pony's life.
Sad: A tale that makes you shed tears by it's end.
Dark: A telling of a tale that is best done in the dark
Comedy: A merry chant that will make you laugh by its end.
Random: A seemingly monotonous collection of events. Usually coincidental.
Song Fic: A story that is told over a song's score.
Adventure: An epic tale of wonder, peril, and excitement.
Crossover: A legend about the mixing of genres and worlds.
Slice of Life: A non-rhythmic poem of everyday life's challenges.
Alternate Universe: A twist in the norm for an wonderous "What if?"
Human: Turning the famed ponies into bipedal monsters.
Feel Good: For all those times we just want to smile and laugh.
Secondary Pairing: A tale told aside from the main pairing.
Second Pony Perspective: A story directing a pony's actions.

The Strongest Whisper Their Words

>>476502 I find it as really, really great. Do note, I exclude all sexfics because, well, sex.

That's what I do. I go on reading binges. Kind of like a movie marathon, but with stories. And yours seem pretty good to read! So thanks for the kickass work, and can't wait to see what else you have in store!
>>478911
You... You faved all of my stories. Thank you!
Your stories are fantastic, and best of all, you like the Joker (my waifu
)! So have all my love!
>>476161
Because I'm not overly satisfied with it as a story. I'm more happy with the works that are up there than I am it. It was alright, and I don't regret writing it, but I'm sure that I could have done more with it if I was just a bit more patient.
>>420034 >>420401 There's a little green thing to the beginning of this comment. Scroll over it or even click/tap it. Hope this helps you remember what people are responding to. I have the same issue with most, but that helps a lot.
Why isn't Slender on the list of the best?
>>420034
I believe that is because you misspelled "good" as "god," and I commented that "I hope I have GOD luck too."
