SUPER HIATUS! · 6:06pm
Well... I imagine it's pretty apparent by now that I have done NOTHING!
Seriously... I've done nothing.
I hope one day I'll start doing something but that's not likely to happen in the next few months.
I am setting all stories to HIATUS status for the time being with the hope stated above.
But don't fret, my brain is always working on stories and they are never forgotten, I'm just finding it very difficult to write at the moment for some unknown reason meaning my ideas and stories can't get out of my head.
University is REALLY bad for creativity. Plus, with an absolutely terrible module I'm doing, it's more difficult than ever for motivation. This particular module of Geography has actually made me think about my life and the possibility that I've chosen the wrong paths in life, but it's too late in the term to choose a better one. This is rather disheartening, and thus my brain is tired most of the time (not like a sort of medical condition or anything, just lack of motivation).
Since most of my followers are, I think, mostly here for "My Little Rainbows" I feel I should mention this as it's been six months at least since the teaser of the next chapter and a year now since the last actual chapter. I plan to rewrite EVERYTHING! And add quite a bit as well. There will be a chapter at least for each year of their lives until Dash leaves home (that's 20 years), including a mega-chapter of their first week at school. As a result, some canon will change, for example: a much better introduction of Ticker (who was added suddenly when I decided Swirl needed a mute friend (who will become a major role later in their teenage years)), Red will change as I realised he's far too kind for what I have in mind and it won't make much sense, and finally their uncle (as seen in the episode "Games Ponies Play") will be a bigger role in the story since he is actually canon.
First chapter rewrite is mostly done and the second is two thirds done, but these won't be released until I know I can write again at a much more acceptable rate.
That last part goes the same for any other story I have or other plans I have.
So, to sum up, I'm finally making my hiatus official, and I'm sorry.
(Ironically, writing this blog post about not being able to write is making me want to write something, which is a good sign. But not that good so don't get your hopes up.)
