Being the ruler of Equestria, Celestia knows quite a few things. Having lived for an expanse of time most mortals can't ever grasp, she has untold wisdom. That said, when it comes to knowing how to deal with a daughter you've never told anypony about and trying to get her to listen to you before a possible life altering change happens caused by having Alicorn blood... well, Celestia's fairly lost.

Not just that, but Celestia also finds that she's as out of touch with ponies as Luna is, much to her shame. She needs to figure out what it means to be a pony, for her kingdom, for her daughter, and for herself.

Late one night, Mrs. Cake found Pinkie Pie staring intently at her two babies, a look on her face that she could not recognize. She watches her charge over time, trying to understand what is causing her to do this. And Mrs. Cake realizes that it might be Pinkie being Pinkie, but Pinkie is something more important and precious than she first realized, and that herself, Mrs. Cake, is a bit more, too.

The first chapter of the first babyfur story I've written. At the gentle insistence of a friend, I have posted on this site for somebody's enjoyment. I hope you like it, and please tell me if there is anyway I can improve this. Also, why isn't there a family or friendship option for the tags?

Animals scare easily. Fluttershy knows this all too well, feeling fear almost all the time. As a fire burns the Everfree Forest away, she comes to find most ponies aren't that different from her.

A single normal day, a trip to a friend's home... it all turns sour as shadows from the past attack the present. To learn is the past's only use, as Applebloom comes to understand. The steady beat in the march of time may be lenient on her, but the past cannot be changed. The future, however, can be rewritten.
