Sequel to Apologies, my story about Rainbow Dash breaking Pinkie's heart told in letter format.
Years after, once everything is all said and done, Pinkie receives the letter. But there's a note tucked inside with a few words that make her realize what really happened and why she received that letter.

If I may offer you some advice then: practice, practice, practice, practice. Go to the /fic/ boards and tell them your goal, then submit your work and be open to whatever criticisms they may have to offer. I also suggest some appropriately depressing music to listen to while writing to further help immerse yourself in your work
Additionally, a basic, important rule of writing well is this: read. A lot. Find stories, especially in the niche you're looking to write in, and pour over them. Look at what tugs at your heartstrings and file that away for reference. Here are the top five stories I keep going back to for inspiration.
