O hai. I am a 17-year-old high school student from Finland and a reasonably new brony. I've been into the show from late March and into fanfiction from early May 2012.

I started writing my own fanfictional writings in early May but ended up never publishing the short drafts I put together. I'm mainly writing off my cellphone - I never have the time for writing when I have access to my desktop, for various reasons - which explains my slow writing pace. I have the desire to write long, epic shipping stories like "Flying High, Falling Hard" or "The Games We Play" (both great shipfics, by the way) but have some doubt over my skills as English is not my native language. I guess this fanfic writing can be taken as practice in just that?

People that mainly have inspired me out of all the fanfic writers out there are:

soundslikeponies (both of his fics are awesome)

TAW (I've read multiple fics by her, all amazing)

AbsoluteAnonymous (read only one of her fics but it has had an effect on how I at least try to write)

and whoever is the author behind AnonponyDASHIE's fanfic 'Xenophilia' (I only read it to get better in the language, I swear *ahem*)

Oh, and yeah. Dashie is the best pony. There's no such thing as 'best pony'? Fine, at least she's my favorite.
