As most of you know, in the last 10 or so chapters I've tried to include art. Sadly, my current artist is unable to continue. I am looking for replacement artists. I am NOT looking for free art (but, you know, I'm not proud, I'll take it), and I do pay commission rates. Ideally, it would be one of you, faithful readers, as you have some affection for the story. Don't worry about copying any existing style, make it your own.

Hey everybody! So, your're likely wondering where the next chapter is. First off, let me reassure you I have not rage quit the story, or died, or even got sick (other than a little cold right now). I and the story are alive and well. In fact, I've been working on it, even if it's only to add a single sentence every night.

Sudden, unexpected work pressure (e.g. "Techogre, we just discovered that the client needed two months work done, and it's due by end of month. Oh, and the extra developers we said were going to help you out, are now gone. Good luck and off you go.") has drained my evening and weekends, as my editors / pre-readers / friends can attest to. However, when I finally could work on it, usualy past 10pm, I wouldn't have much skull sweat to devote to it.

So, I'm getting my life back, a little at a time and am writing a bit more, and with luck I should have this bad-colt out the door by Friday.

In the mean time, I think you will soon be getting a little AJ's Diary surprise by the end of today.

I wonder what you think, so I thought I would ask. Just a conversation point, really. I'm curious about the ethics of duplication effects, like spells, magic pools, etc.

Would duplicating an object without someones' knowledge be stealing?

If you bought a single, perfect apple from Sweet Apple Acres, and started duplicating it, would you owe Applejack any bits?

Is destroying (I'm looking at you Twilight) a duplicate of an individual like killing a person?

What do you think of this? I want to know!

The Jumping Jester is an alternate universe (non-canon) Memverse inspired story. It's a great read and I highly recommend it.
