Hello to those people watching me for the one story I posted almost 8 months ago now. No, I'm not dead (as my activity has shown), but I figured I should probably point out the obvious to anyone who didn't already notice. On Feathered Wings is pretty much cancelled.

Between some family stuff that came up, school issues, work issues, other little bits of time consuming drama and helping a few people move across state, I just completely lost my will to write. I picked up writing again after a burst of inspiration and out of what came from it, there were a few things I found I was proud of and a few things I felt I completely flopped on. As a whole, I liked On Feathered Wings, but I didn't really plan ahead very much and after looking back over all the chapters I wrote, I don't feel like there is much of a way to salvage anything and still feel like I wrote a good story.

I also noticed that a few posts on EQD were from people actually worried that I had died or something, which I thought was kinda touching actually. A lot more people seemed to legitimately like my story than I would have ever thought, and it even reached 5 star status, which is apparently hard to do since I've seen plenty of stories that I think are far better than mine get less. Then again, I sent my story in a long time ago. Maybe standards have changed?

Any who, yeah, massive apologies to the folks out there that wanted to see more. Sorry it took so long to actually make this post and I've just been silently reading and checking FIMFiction.net this whole time while ignoring (mostly not noticing) that people were posting comments and asking about this still. I hope there aren't any real hard feelings about the silent death of the story and my lack of informing people generally interested in it.

If you want to stick around on my watch list or whatever, you're more than welcome to! I may (and I have to stress may) get the inspiration to try my luck at another story one of these days. I'd love to aim a little lower at first. Maybe a one shot or a short four or five chapter story about this or that. I have some ideas I'd love to get down, but every time I feel like I might like to write a little something comes up and my attention gets diverted elsewhere.

So that's pretty much it! Thanks for liking my story so much that you'd track me (or it), and I'm only sorry that you won't get to see it through to the end.
