Caramel didn't think about life that often.  He didn't tread on the simple waves of thought everypony around him seemed to do.  He didn't strive for fortune nor fame, or even something as simple as love.  He simply continued to exist, hoping not to cause too much trouble for the ones around him.

Everything was going fine... Until Big Macintosh entered his life.

As the roads of life begin to wind, the lives of the owners have no choice but to become entangled, through love and hate alike.

It has been a year since the events in Winding Roads took place.  Braeburn has been going through hell ever since Soarin left, attacks have gotten worse, insults have gotten nastier, and every day Braeburn wants his lover more and more, their only connection being the letters sent every week.  It isn't much... but it still makes the earth pony realize he is loved, and one of the only things keeping him hanging onto his measly life.

It took three weeks for Soarin to notice Braeburn's letters had stopped arriving...

Sequel to Winding Roads.

Big Macintosh tried his best to simply travel through life without causing any trouble, and without getting too attached to somepony outside of his family walls. But as a childhood friend he thought to be long forgotten by the name of Caramel suddenly shows up unexpected, he happens to bring a few demons along with him.

A hundred miles away however, The Wonderbolts tour around Equestria, each new show of their Equestrian tour becoming more and more stressful for the lot.  It becomes harder and harder to maintain a somewhat normal daily life for vice-captain, Soarin, and even harder to keep a bond between him and his coltfriend, Braeburn Apple.

Big Macintosh knows he has a cousin named Braeburn, he knows that he lives in Appleloosa a thousand miles away, but he doesn't know the pony himself, not really.  Perhaps the fact that his cousin rarely visited is to blame, or it could be because of his extreme shy nature that he isn't close to his own family member.

Regardless of if he is well acquainted with his cousin or not isn't the issue, the issue at hand is that his cousin is coming to visit, trying to get his life together once and for all with family breathing down his neck to finally settle down so not to end up a lonely old stallion.

While trying to be supportive of his cousin, Big Macintosh finds himself growing closer to the yellow coated fellow... perhaps a bit too close.

Big Macintosh didn't remember when it started, he didn't know just how long it had been going on, but for the past few years he began to hate the tan colored stallion named Caramel more and more.  The way he acted, looked, and even talked angered Big Macintosh beyond reason at times.

Maybe it all started the first time he pressed his muzzle against his best friend's soft, tender lips... but that could only be a hunch.
