OK, as many of you may have guessed, Masked is on a temporary hiatus. Let me explain fully:

I wrote the first two chapters of Masked over the course of a few months during college. I thought I'd be able to keep the rate up for production. Then, as the saying goes, s^$# happened. I did very poorly during my semester, and decided to focus more on schoolwork. However, this meant that some things needed to be taken away from in terms of "time spent on". Masked was one of the first things to be cut back on.

Additionally, I found that I, like any writer, have that one thing that I have trouble with. For me, it's scenes with large crowds needing to be interacted with as a single unit. In Chapter 2, I focused on the individual members of the crowd, not the crowd as a whole being. For Chapter 3, it's unavoidable unless I do a total rewrite.

So Masked will be on hiatus (officially now) until May, when I will be able to focus more time into it. Even then, it may be a little slow. However, I can say with utmost certainty that AT LEAST one chapter will be posted over the summer, most likely more. If you need me to truly dedicate myself to it, here you go:

I will produce more chapters of Masked over the summer. Cross my heart and hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye.

P.S. I know I probably shouldn't do this, but I will say that I have four other ideas that I'm working on. They're also on the backseat right now, and are also backseated in relation to Masked. The backseat has been doubled, I guess.
