I really didn't (and still don't) really envision anypony but the general getting hurt that badly. The other guards were only hit by stun spell or thrown across the room. We have seen ponies in the show take a pretty good beating and be fine. Unfortunately my writing didn't describe the situation as cartoon violence as I had hoped and inadvertently became something more violent. There is not a whole lot I can do now, besides add that Twilight was relieved all the guards were released back home that night, minus General double.
Let me know what you guys think. (I'm probably going to do this)

But your doing it on my page which I said will not be taken seriously, so that must mean you are not serious.
Yay logic!
I just broke down and downloaded Google drive.
And now I can freaking write why I'm at work...from my phone. biz awesome.
Oh yeah and I'm complaining about improper use of tags

I had written a good 20 chapters or so for a fic, but I ended up scraping the whole thing, because I couldn't really connect them very well. The chapters had a certain flow to them, but then I'd just lurch into something else like a drunken, half blind pegasus trying to hump a Volkswagen Beetle.
Silliness and short-fics are definitely more my forte.

Lol. I started writing fanfiction so long ago, I never really thought about it. It was just a natural thing.
Because the internet only became big a couple of years after I started writing, and it was a while longer before I had a computer that I could use for the pursuit, I had been writing original fiction for a long time before then.
But a lot of writers these days get their start in fanfiction. It is a place for one's writing to be validated by a lot of people, after all. There's a new published writer out these days, Marissa Meyer, and she started off writing Sailor Moon fanfiction. Major props.
And then there's ... *shudder* fifty shades of grey (which I'm not even going to give the respect of capitalising. But still, it's there.)
