Something went horribly, horribly wrong when I contected my portable hardrive to my mother's laptop last night in order to DM a D&D Campaign.

If not for the fact chapter 3 is already up it would be lost...

Chapter 4, however, is a casualty. This is a major set back considering the fact I've spent this whole time chipping away at it and even completely restarted it at least once.

Currently I am attempting to restore the lost information but if that fails expect some serious delays on me releasing any kind of updates.

EDIT: It's gone

So a friend has informed me that in April it will be the 10 year anniversary of me becoming a member of Fanfiction dot net.

I've been at this for ten years, sorting through the badfics, helping the newbies, dealing with the self-entilted whiners... I want a medal or something!

For a fic;

Something gets into Ponyville's water supply that gives all the local pegasi uncontrollable flatulance... cue all the Unicorns and Earth Ponies getting super high pitched voices from all the helium (and Sweetie Belle being incomprehensible due to how high her voice goes).

FEAR ME FOR I AM MADNESS

So I checked my bank to see if my pay had gone in today. It had, which is good, my car insurance is due...

But so had an extra $1k

I was only supposed to be payed about $200 to $300 but found a whoping $1400 had gone in.

Now here's the fun part; they're going to want that back. Here's the REALLY fun part; this has happened before.

When I received my yearly bonus it was also a grand over and I've been having to pay that back incrementally.

Now, when the SAME ERROR occurs twice in less then 6 months there is only one thing to call it isn't there? Yup.

Pay Roll; EPIC FAIL.

On a similar note, the system stuffed up yesterday and didn't register that I had logged in on the tills. This didn't have any effect down on the floors but once I returned to cash office to end my shift it did. Mostly because now the system thought I'd not logged in, thus shouldn't have had any alterations to my till. So naturally the system came to the conclusion I had magicked $3000 into my till.

IT Department; EPIC FAIL.

UPDATE: HR is now 'investigating' ... I'm now imagining two young ladies and a 35 year old bloke in Sherlock Holmes hats.

Several actually... heres the run down on what I'm working on;

Winner: Romantic Comedy with multiple endings. When a new colt moves to Ponyville and enrolls at the Schoolhouse the routine lives of the foals is thrown out the window as the aloof colt simply wants to be left alone while everypony else wants to make friends. Being a non-violent individual the colt falls back on unconventional tactics to disuade his antagonists from bothering him... however his valiant efforts to obtain solitude backfire and instead lead to just about every filly (and one certain mare) in the School wanting to be his Special Somepony.

Frontier: Fall of Equestria: Based on my Frontier-verse. For the last seven years the Grand Alliance of Sapients has fought a one sided conflict against the unstoppable Eternal and thier Strain infested slaves. For seven long years they have watched the Eternal implant thier young in habitable worlds and leave them shattered volcanic, strip-mined, husks while being powerless to stop thier relentless advance. By sheer luck a scout ship stumbled across a habitable Ocean World thriving with Sapient life... directly in the path of an Eternal. In five years the Eternal will reach this world and inplant it's young... five years later the young will emerge from the planets corpse. To them it is a race against time to conduct the Grand Alliance's first ever Uplifting operation before all life on that world is exterminated. For Twilight Sparkle and her friends the day First Contact was established had appeared like it would be just another peaceful day in Ponyville.

EDIT: Possible third story, may right instead of Frontier;

Pony Control: Just as the first space ship the Ponies of Equestria have sent into space reachs orbit they receive a transmission from somewhere other then mission control. These strangers call themselves the Chenjesu and have come not only to warn Equestria of an impending threat but also to ask them to join thier Alliance of Free Stars in thier desperate battle against the relentless Ur-Quan slavers and thier Hierachy of Battle Thrawls. With the only options available being to fight or become the Ur-Quans slaves the Sapient people of Equestria unnanimously agree to join the Alliance and join the war effort. Only time will tell if the loose Alliance between the Chenjesu, Mmrnmhrm, Yehat, Shofixti, Humans, Syreen and Arilou can stand against the relentless Ur-Quan. EDIT: May write the sequel first.

Pony Control 2: Will take place 20 years after the events of the first... though I'm not going to tell you what happens... Muahahaha. EDIT: All I'll say is the Mane 6 will play a major roll in this one.

I used to have a swivel chair untill just a few weeks ago. It had five legs back then. Now it has four.

All I did was lean towards my desk to pick up some paperwork (D&D Character Sheet) when one of the legs SNAPPED OFF AND FLEW ACROSS THE ROOM.

I'm now stuck on a rigid dinner chair with about four cushions from the lounge room couch on it. It's not comfortable at all and completely kills my drive to write.

I also have no money. That makes getting a new chair hard.

So expect my update schedual to be somewhere between releases of new Gundam Unicorn episodes and Valve releasing Half-Life 3.
