It isn't to say that I haven't expected this, but I've gotten at least a few people who seem adamant about not making themselves known...especially since they seem to be downvoting what I write for reasons I've never heard since...well, how can you know their reasons when it isn't voiced?

I prefer to keep such things quiet sometimes, certainly, but if it isn't brought to my attention just why its bad...then certainly it shouldn't have an impact on the reader?

The thing is, I know why people would want to do this. Simply put, it is either to try and discourage me from writing(which can happen, but only in RARE cases), or from thinking I'm any good at writing.

...neither of those things need help, in all seriousness. I stop writing when I want to and not only that, but it also isn't hard for me to just say 'NO' to my writing inspiration for the day. I'm also pretty well aware of my own writing shortcomings, especially with things that concern grammar and various basic functions of the language. If you want to make a quick enemy out of me, all you have to do is simply deny the fact you're trying to have an opinion.

I prefer to hear what others think, whether its good or bad, I want to hear what others think. Doesn't matter if you think its dumb or irrelevant, you'd be surprised how often I've had something asked about just to realize that I hadn't yet either detailed it or hadn't thought it out at all yet. If you want to hold back your thoughts and deny everyone else the chance to hear something new, that's your own choice.

...but in all seriousness, I don't like seeing people do that. To me, it speaks of cowardice and failure to communicate. I don't comment on things I dislike or hate(yah, totally going there), mainly because I simply would not have anything constructive to say. Should I have something constructive though, I will not hold back on letting it be known. For the most part, I've had little to no need to try any constructive criticism here, mainly because there are really great writers sharing their knowledge here already. What use is it to just add myself to the collective? Not much if it means the basic responses I've had...which is to say, nearly nothing aside of a few friends who are pretty supportive for not knowing me fully.

Not that I expect to suddenly get tons of people exclaiming about this...but seriously, I expected better from a community that's all about including others in their world view. I'll keep writing, especially with my current story, since I don't have much else to do in getting noticed.

See ya'll next blog post, everyone.

Gears Within The Soul ~ Memories of Solid Gear

A collection of stories designed to be about my OC pony Solid Gear, with no relation to the previous fic called 'A Mind Enshrouded'. In fact, these are the only stories that will have relation since this is my most-canonical OC pony.

Please leave a comment for me to know if you enjoyed it, or even if you dislike it. I'd prefer to know who is reading this, since it doesn't help me any to have no responses.

A Mind Enshrouded

Currently on hold, but if you enjoy it, please leave a comment...if enough people bug me, I may continue it. For now, on Hiatus.

Mostly a first-person-view of a story about a human who'd since lost her memories of her first appearance into Equestria, the tale itself is mostly recollections and memories presented by the ponies she's met and talked with. There is to be more in the adventure category later, but that's when the story comes around to it.

This does involve the Mane Six to an extent, not to mention a fair share of OC ponies or simply original pony ideas created on a whim.
