Leaving this side of the fandom. · 6:53am
You know... when I created this account I never thought I would leave fimfiction, it was something new for me. I had never read fanfiction of any kind it was something new, something filled with wonder and it was magical. I've read stories that had me on the edge of my seat like no "New York Times Best Selling" author ever has. There were plot twists that sent my head spinning around the sun. And even a few that made me cry... They were so inspiring I even tried to make my own... With the help of a few friends and a semester of school we ended up with 270 pages of the most amateur writing in the world. 270 pages that we poured our free time, minds, and souls into. I still get nostalgic just reading the first paragraph. The long nights on sugar highs typing up barley coherent sentences and waking up the next morning to fix them. The crude jokes and mindless babble of 4 teenage guys just enjoying how bad they were at something. Then suddenly as it had all started, poof. We lost interest in the 155146 words we slapped on a google docs page. So I tried writing solo. Gathered up enough courage to post the first and last chapter of a story I could never finish. Tried several other stories, gathered up 15 followers who I'm not even sure knew what they were doing when they press the little eyeball on my profile page. But you know what, I had fun. I've cried and laughed all across this website and I just want to thank all the bronies who made my day with some simple words on a screen. The stories, they're just old now... always the same characters and characteristic traits. Though some subtle differences of course. This post may never be read. But just like my writing it feels good just to get this out there. And for all the impatient people...
Leaving the story side of the fandom and thank you.
Who knows maybe I'll swing by every once in a while, see you on the other side friends.
