Title says it all. I've been working on a side story to Soldier of the Night over the past couple of months and I'm so excited to share it with you all once the first chapter is done. I haven't got a set release date for it but keep a look out in the coming weeks, I think this will really help ease me back into writing 
Greetings readers, welcome to my little corner of FiMFiction.
I'm Matt, and I'm a university student who listens to rock music and writes about ponies in his spare time. I've been a brony since summer 2012 when my sisters first introduced me to the show; these days, however, I don't watch it nearly as much as I used to, but I remain actively involved in the fandom. I do realize that I am not the best writer on this site, and to be real honest with you, I'm not trying to be — I write because it is something that I actively love doing, not to mention the fact that I love seeing people enjoy my work. My other hobbies include gaming, editing videos, listening to music, watching films and drawing stuff, as I see myself as being quite good at art.
If you're familiar with my most popular story Soldier of the Night, you will no doubt have noticed my stories differ from the show they're based on in a number of ways. Most of my stories are and will be classed as 'alternate universe', as part of the Pegiverse, which I am working on with my good friend Thunderblast. However, my stories won't deviate too much from the show, with the exception of including some modern technology that the show does not, or at least is not implied to have, for example, telephones, computers, television and military and civilian vehicles, such as tanks and planes.
My stories will usually focus on my OCs, who are either Royal Guards or Equestrian soldiers fighting in different wars, however, I am planning to write several fics that concern canon characters. Right now, though, I am writing a story that centers on my favorite OC, Stormfire, who is, in my opinion, the best idea I have ever come up with. While I did like writing about my first OC, Blue Skye, I now feel as though he's too generic of an OC and there is nothing that interesting about his story. However, I plan to make Stormfire's story more unique and interesting for you all to read. I hope you enjoy my stories and stick around for more.
