The Pastry Postulate is probably my favorite story I've written. I've always been a fan of Plato, so I thought, what if you took Plato's logic and base philosophy, and applied it to a mundane activity like eating a cupcake? The Pi came about very late at night. That's... about all I remember.

I think I'm real. I was pretty sure. It made sense that I was at the center of my own world, the creator of everything my mind brought forth.
