No seriously though, incoming.

What's it been, four months? Jeez.

The new chapter of Cantering Death is on its way - all I've got to do is go through my final edits, and it'll be good to go.

I'll phrase this next bit as non-dramatically as possible: basically, I lost my motivation for this story over a period of several months. I felt as though the story had become stagnant, uninteresting, and somewhat contrite. Through various means, however, I have re-kindled my motivation to continue Cantering Death, and I've got some new ideas for it that will be implemented as time sees fit.

Many, many apologies to those who've been waiting for this story's continuation. I hope to finish this story in a somewhat timely fashion now, as I now know the direction in which this story is to take.

...why I've gone ahead and started yet another story, when I have Cantering Death, TT:aAH and others on my plate. To be honest, the reason is this: I've been gearing up to participate in EqNaPoWriMo, or the National Pony Writing Month. Essentially, it's an opportunity for those who love to write and those who have always wanted to, to hone their talents into a set routine, and try to produce a story of 50,000 words in one month. If I recall the rules from last year, fics that already exist are disqualified from entry: that is why, in the interest of good penmanship, I've decided to create a brand new tale.

Minor spoiler: it's Lovecraftian. With ponies.

I expect the story to be up and running shortly, with (hopefully) daily or every-other-daily updates to follow. Hope you guys like it!

Marathonning a write session for Cantering Death tonight. Expect a hefty chapter soon.

Good morning, faithful readers!

Contrary to popular belief: no, I am not dead. Quite sorry to disappoint those of you who have been convinced otherwise! I have been rather busy with work as of late, and I have subsequently been unable to devote the time and energy I normally put into the whole composition process.

However, I do have a bit of a break coming up!

What does this mean? Several things, actually; I will finally have the time to give the next three chapters of Cantering Death a proper edit. Same goes for the next two chapters of The Thing: An Antlertican Horror. Expect significant updates to both of these stories within the next few days.

Thank you all for your patience: I feel rather shitty about not updating these stories in a timely fashion, but real-life circumstances have thus far proven to be the bane of my fan-fiction existence. I apologize wholeheartedly for my tardiness, and I sincerely hope that you will view obscenely belated updates superior to no updates at all.
