WEEEEEEWT! Cycle's first act is DONE.

And I'm putting myself on a new writing drive. I know I've said this a million times, and I'm not going to get up hopes, but I HOPE I can get this going and done in less than two years.

I know about the whole Twilicorn thing. I actually don't care about that aspect. What? I said I don't care. We are making a big deal out of nothing. Twilight gets wings. Whoop-dee-doo. A couple of stories have to change their tags to "Alternate Universe" Alicorns are adulterated. WE ALREADY HAVE CADENCE. Does the existence of that awful character not adulterate them enough?

Do I have problems with it? Yes, but not because she becomes an alicorn. If you REALLY want to know, I have issues with Twilight becoming a princess. It messes with the character relations. But I have a very strong feeling this will be aborted for this reason. I've already made this speech enough on how it would affect character relations. It doesn't take more than two brain cells to figure it out. Unless Hasbro is really screwing with this, it probably won't be permanent. She'll go "Oh please. I want my friends, not the throne" in an episode (maybe even the first one) and everything would go back to normal. If not, we have bigger problems.

As for Cycle, yeah I'm adopting the AU tag when I get to the bridge that needs crossing. It doesn't yet. It actually may not NEED to. There is only one thing that conflict, because I've saved my chips for the risky stuff, and it has NOTHING to do with alitwi. And actually, that other thing may perhaps go away.

I've been doing a little bit of editing for Mr Boss Man (The guy who used to co-write Aurora Spark/Dark Thresholds) in his fic The Music of the Spheres. Go here see if it's to your liking.

As for my own fic, here is the deal: It will (with discipline) be done in October or November. Why am I promising it here? I'm holding myself accountable to you guys. I have 6 chapters (Long ones, mind you) to write and that shouldn't take me a whole year to do. The shorter second act should be done by January, but the rest are unclear. Their size is malleable, and a good majority of their plot is undetermined. Circumstances arose.

The next chapter will be out this week, by hell or high water.

Something just clicked with me and I started writing up a storm. I have portions of every act done, except for the current one. I SWEAR my computer doesn't want this done. I am not lying when I say that every time I open a document to create a part of WWAE it crashes after about 500-1000 words. My word processor (<3 Openoffice.org) does an EXCELLENT recovery job and always restores my stuff back to where I saved it last AT LEAST, and mostly restores it to where it was when I crashed.

Nope, not for WWAE. It corrupts the save file and I have to start over. WITHOUT FAIL.

I'll have to start writing from FiMFiction itself and I really just don't like this. Bear with me. I'm sorry.

I apologize for the hiatus, which truly was a result of my laziness. Don't think I've lost interest, because every single day I though of this and planned it.

I have everything planned, I just have to write it.

So I just need 1/2 an intermission till I can get a train moving. No promises.

Funny, I used to be able to write a 2000 word chapter in 1 day though.

I have been traveling like heck the past few months. But now, I finally have time starting in two weeks.

Expect Chapter 3 to be done. Sometime after that. You see, I also have to kick myself back into a writing mentality.

If I'm going to be a jack of all trades I might as well put it to use in a way other than researching and ranting. Be mediocre in a semi-productive way.
