Promises, promises... · 3:17am
Time for another useless blog that no one even reads! Well, except for you obviously, if you've come this far.
Let me say that I acknowledge the fact that I'm terrible at keeping promises. Especially if it has something to do with my story.
I said a while ago that I was almost done with part two of my divided chapter. Obviously, I lied. Unintentionally, of course, but that is no excuse.
24 thousand words in, and I'm still not done with it. In fact, this one will probably be around as long as my longest chapter, chapter 7, which is around 27 thousand words.
I also want to mention that I know that my latest chapter has been extremely long in the making. Far longer than I'd liked. I have no one to blame but myself, and I apologize. I predicted a release date in early April, but it looks like I gotta delay it yet again and move the date to early May. I still got something to add to it and my editor needs time to fix all of my stupid mistakes; rephrase sentences and perhaps add something to it, which will take a while.
Thanks for sticking with me. :)
P.S: The few chapters to come won't be as lengthy.

>>345633 well not everything is perfect and even if English isn't you native language at least your trying and that's all that really matters just like at the moment I'm doing my first story and i know that's its not perfect but i'm still giving it a go. So pretty much all we need to do is just keep trying till its just right or at least you think its perfect and if you don't think its perfect then ask a good friend of yours and ask what he/she thinks of it.
>>345539 Aww... thank you! It means a lot to me.
But yeah, I know it's not perfect. After all, English is not my native language. But I'm trying.
More coming soon. :3
i'm surprised that you don't have a lot of like for your story because i think its a great story (well apart from a few mistakes here and there) hell on my page i even have it as one of my top 5 favorite stories because its that good anyway i'm just here to let you know that i'm looking forward to the updated and keep up with the great story and i'm sure you will start getting more likes

thank you
>>282082 Thank you so much! I'm happy you like my story. People like you is the reason for why I'm still writing. I started my first chapter just for fun to screw with my real life friend. It evolved into so much more after I found out that people liked my fic.
Thank you for your support! It's very much appreciated.
>>282053 your writing style is something that i aspire to (i am scootalo
you rainbow dash
logic) I am glad that you take the time for your stores and bonus you take them seriously you are everything that I see in a great author (witch right now you are my Favorite
) anyway I wish you good luck not that you will need it because skill always best luck and you have a ton of both
>>281650 It really depends on my mood. It can take up from two weeks to couple of months. For instance, I wrote my longest chapter in only 2 weeks. I was really in the mood back then. But, recently I've been taking my writing a bit more seriously, meaning that I'm taking my time polishing my chapters; to make them top quality so it can be more enjoyable.
Another thing that slows me down is the fact that English is not my native language. I'm just an 18 year old Icelander. :3
But thank you for asking! It warms my heart to see that you're enjoying my story. I'd say you could expect another chapter next month.
how long on average does it take you to write a chapter of this awesome story?
hence as i said the final current chapter, and yes for the boss...ah...thanks for that, was wondering why he didnt shout, i cant wait for the next chapter, my bloods pumping
>>9854 Thank you kindly! This is my first fanfic, so it's a bit challenging. But I'm doing everything I can to please you all!
But are you talking about when the boss captured them? I'm going to assume that you're talking about that part; I didn't make Drake shout because the boss said that if he would, he'd kill Rainbow. He didn't want to take any chances.
And he also wouldn't shout at him because he feared that if he would, the boss's friends would've entered the room and put him in the same misery as Rainbow's dad went through.
Anyways, he may not have a cooldown, but it sure drains his energy away with each Shout. That's why he uses it wisely.
Stay tuned! Next chapter coming soon. Waiting for my editor to verify it, and I'll post it as soon as it's ready. Thank you for your support and for reading my story! I hope you enjoy my next chapter.
